As I recall hearing, the warm period prior to The Little Ice Age was one of the most prosperous in history.

Sounds good to me.

No wait, it's recycled Malthusianism. Which has an excellent pedigree - everybody remembers 90% of the world's population dying of starvation last century, don't they?

I’m sorry, I’d like to respond to this post but I died during the ice age Time magazine predicted in the 1970s that would start within the next 10 to 20 years.
