Rabbi Moishe Arye Friedman of Austria has said Iran is the best model for human rights for children. Rabbi Friedman, who is the chief rabbi of the Orthodox Anti-Zionist Society of Austria, his wife Lea, and six of their seven children returned to their home in Vienna, Austria on Thursday after almost two months in Iran... Before coming to Iran, Rabbi Friedman's children were attacked by Zionist elements in Austria and Britain in retaliation for the fact that the rabbi had attended the Tehran Holocaust Conference in December 2006. His children required hospitalization after the attacks. They were also expelled from school in Vienna, kidnapped in London, and illegally imprisoned and tortured in Vienna... The family expressed gratitude to the Austrian Supreme Court for their efforts to ensure their children could return to school and to prosecute the culprits, but added that the justice minister and other Austrian politicians beholden to Israel and the Zionist World Jewish Congress are hindering implementation of the court orders. The Friedman family said European countries should implement their laws on the human rights of children in their own lands before dictating to the Islamic Republic of Iran, which they called the best model for human rights for children.

Psychotic. Not so much to be Jewish-while-anti-Zionist (although that, right there, is pretty darn unusual), but to be Jewish and praise the current situation in IRAN as a good one for Jews.
You know who’s behind all this anti-semitism? The Jews!!! /sarc
The guy is not a rabbi. Hes been excommunicated by every Jewish group.
He is Iranian propaganda

Sucking up won't help, Rabbi Friedman. You'll hang, too, if islam has its way...
Kapo. And a willing one at that.
Tehrantimes...
Well, maybe not...
I could have sworn that the Tehran Times was supposed to be in the Humor category, lest people think it’s an actual news source.
I was going to post to this thread, but I can't possibly beat that.
LOL! The Iranian Propaganda doesn't even attempt to sound reasonable.
If this person actually exists, I think he should move his family to Teheran immediately. Then he and his wife and children will be safe and happy. /sarc
Does this “rabbi” also believe children should each be given a key before sending them off to their deaths?
There’s literally nothing more over the top (although there are some ties). ;’)
There were a lot of Jewish anti-zionists before and immediately following the creation of Israel. I’m not Jewish and am getting this from remembered novels and history, but I think the idea was that it was not the right time to recreate Israel according to Biblical prophecy.
The Zionist World Jewish Congress! Those guys rock!
There are still lots of Jewish anti-Zionists, and many of them are perfectly sane and civilized people. This Neturei Karta group, however, are sickos on the order of the Fred Phelpsians. These folks are forever defending suicide bombers who blow up families going about their daily business. Now they’re saying the best place in the world for children is a country where mothers and sisters and even quite young girls are subject to brutal oppression throughout their lives, which are apt to be ended early by such lovely cultural traditions as “honor killings” and stonings.
Alas, there seem to be anti-Zionist Jews in every generation. Remember in the Old Testament, when they were wandering in the wilderness, one faction wanted to desert Moses and go back to Egypt? They complained about missing food items like onions, melons, cucumbers and meat, while not a word was said about the slavery they had just escaped. Therefore I would say that there will never be a perfect time to set up a Jewish state, so just do it anyway!
