That comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek. But to the hordes of natural-thinkers that are sure to descend on this thread, I’m sure they won’t find it all that important.
Not to mention, what are they going to do with the condition that it never rained before this event? That’s another clue, often ignored, as to what really happened.
well the way I understand it, we have free will to make choices but G-d knows our choices in advance because He is above time. But that doesn’t mean He controls our choices just as someone with a time machine who went back in time a few minutes can’t change what I just said (he could put a gun to my head but I could choose to be a martyr and type it anyway if I was that passionate about my FR posts...)

Jewish astronomer Rabbi bar Nachmani - “When God decided to bring about the Flood, He took two stars from Khima, threw them on Earth, and brought about the Flood.”
"... on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened. And rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights."
You’ll love post #15.

I rather liked it myself.
I thought those chevrons looked familiar.
:)
“Im sure they wont find it all that important.”
I agree with that. If they hadn’t have used a “fact” which I could find within 5 minutes I can’t trust them on anything. Bible or not.
Ridiculous. Noah’s flood was caused by God.
Well, of course you did....;D
Your post 15- are you referring to the possibility in quantum physics that the speed of light isn’t an unexceedable limit, therefore time is adjustable, and the existence of the spiritual realm (the second and third heavens) is actually reality occurring at higher speeds?
probably biased that way due to political-economic-educational issues in much of the world , (not w.europe, but the rest).
thanks for an interesting article, surprised this one has been hijacked so quickly over dating issues in creationism, most of the others dealing with this topic on FR had a fairly high signal/noise ratio.
