Komori is a respected journalist based in Washington, D.C. for Sankei, a major Japanese daily newspaper.

In the middle of winning militarily, Jack Murtha says we can't win militarily! He "conceded violence was down dramatically and some normalcy was restored on Iraq's streets, but he said US victory remains unattainable as long as Baghdad fails to pass national-reconciliation laws 'To change the political law, it doesn't seem to me you need the military stability,' Mr. Murtha told reporters on Capitol Hill." So what he's saying is there's a corrupt government over there, and they won't pass conciliation laws so we can get along with each other. You don't need military stability to do that.
