Thanksgiving Bump
Thankful for a nation of liberty where these injuctices can be aired and provided the opportunity for the redress that they deserve. In most places in the world that would not be the case.
Thankful for the Hand of Providence that still watches over this blessed land despite the difficulties we face, and despite those among us who would destroy the very fabric and foundation of morality it is based upon,
Thankful to live in the most propserous, healthiest, most giving nation on earth where each of us still has the opportunity to make of ourselves whatever it is we choose.
Thankful for the heroes among us, like these Marines, who have sacrificed so much for our blessings of liberty.
Thankful for family and friends who stand with us through thick and thin and bless our lives each day.
...and most of all, thankful for a merciful Savior who has Himself paid the price to heal and be the balm and salve to whatever wounds we suffer in this life...wherever we are, whoever we are, if we will but turn to Him.

bump and Happy Thanksgiving to all! We all have so much to be thankful for. Thank you to all the veterans of years past and those in danger’s way now. May God bring peace and joy to our beloved Haditha Marines and their families this Thanksgiving day.

Chessani in the criminal realm, we will address possible civil remedies against Congressman Murtha (and possibly others) for his statements in regards to the Marines and their officers in Haditha ("cold blooded murder" and "cover-up"). The civil process can be long. There is also a two-year statute of limitations on filing it so we have to be mindful of that as well," Rooney adds. "First things first though. Rep Murtha will also be a witness (if we can get him there) in the court-martial in our unlawful command influence motions."
GOOD! The price of bringing Murtha before the bar of justice is steep. He is a powerful, influential politician who can call in lots of political markers to keep himself out of hot-water, Rooney acknowledges.
Thanx for the post RR.These men need our help.A while back i sent a money order to the TMLC.Not much,but what i could afford.If other Freepers could send $10 or $20 it would be a lot of help.These are good people fighting the good fight-while at the same time being defamed and slandered by the likes of Murtha....Note to RR:Sorry if this is a little off-topic,but I just ran across a website called Americasupportsyou.mil.They’ll forward messages to military personel in Iraq.

IMHO, Gabrelle Carruth is the link to the question we have all been asking the past 18 months...where did Murtha get the (mis) information that allowed him to condemn these Marines?
Once Hagee denied briefing Murtha, prior to his guilty pronouncement of our Marines, the scent became cold. With Chickenhawks discovery of Gabrielle on Murtha's payroll and her background with the NCIS, the scent was picked up once again.

How else could he claim:

The fix was in...the Marines did not stand a chance.
