Terrorists `Just Hoodlums’

The greatest threat to the nation, Paul said, is an overextension of the U.S. military and ``involvement in places we shouldn’t be.’’ Terrorism shouldn’t be fought by waging war on nations, he said. Terrorists are ``just hoodlums and convicts, so to speak, but we incite them with our foreign policy,’’ he said.

Whenever Ron Paul speaks they should play music from the Twilight Zone in the background.

"You think it isn’t satisfying enough to them for a city to smoke or a playground to run red or a carload of subway commuters to panic and die? You are one naive fool."

I agree:

“So you support changing the Constitution? Has your candidate put forth proposed amendments, if you find letters of marque so laughable?”

You are on drugs if you think that some absurd and ineffectual little “letter of marque” is going to deter a single terrorist from attacking us.

“Or shall we just figure that now the Constitution is a rag that is to be either trusted or ignored arbitrarily?”

What you paultards do is your business, and if you want to follow through with mass suicide then so be it but leave those of us who love this country and support the military out of it.

He has the least patriotism and principle of anyone running for president. He’s an unabashed apologist for terrorists using the “blame America” first claptrap so common with Democrats.

Why on earth would you call Ron Paul a "Fifth Columnist"?

That defies all rational understanding.

Oh, you Paul-o-phobes, post anything that says he said that.

Ditter, you need to post confirmation of your assertion.

Of course, you cannot, as what you say about Ron Paul is nothing but vicious lies.

But then, you knew that.

You have no clue what Texans think. You are unworthy to even pontificate on what Texans should do.

Stop Ron Paul? WHY????

Let's stop you instead.

I wrote "Columnists", not "Columnist".

Him and his 9-11 Troofer pals like Alex Jones.

“What the heck do some “conservatives” see in him???”

RP attracts those who think the federal government is the greatest threat, not terrorism. They see the WOT as a means to distract the voters while expanding the size and scope of the federal government. It’s a conspiracy thing.

To think that there are actually people on this site that support this raving lunatic! Mike “Open Borders for Jesus” Huckabee, Mitt “Gay Marriage” Romney and Rudy “Drag Queen” Giuliani are bad enough, but to get behind Ron Paul is beyond my comprehension!! Please explain it, Paulestinians!

but what would RP had done on 9/12 and following if he'd been CIC?

He would have immediately put in an earmark to build a monument (which he would vote against once he knew it would pass) to his heroes who so bravely sacrificed their lives in the planes in order to show to the world how terrible America is. Then he would immediately put his head back into the sand.

What country is a threat to attack us?

Any country with a nuclear weapon. Cut and run's terrorist heroes attacked us with just a few planes.

Ron Paul's Position:

1) "Terrorists are hoodlums and convicts"

Do hoodlums cause this type of damage?

2) "We offend terrorists with our foreign policy."

Brought to you by the same thinking that bans nativity scenes on public property or Christmas trees in schools.

3) "No country is going to attack us."

People like Ron Paul think the citizens of this country must absorb a first strike before we can defend ourselves.

Don't expect Ron Paul to support your right to defend your home from criminals, either.

Our country was attacked. Radical Islamic Fundamentalists flew planes into our buildings killing thousands of our citizens. That is not an act of isolated personal injury sustained by few. It was an act of war which should be responded to in kind.

By the way, how many Paul followers have signed up to go bounty hunting?

President Bush was perfectly placed by Providence for that time .. event.

He's certainly disappointed me in more than a few things since then ... but when I look at all the socialist candidates ... we would be full bore on our way to Sharia law by now ... and the Pubbies? ... I don't know ... I think Rudy would have been a good CIC at the time, I think Mitt would have been simular to Bush, I don't know about Fred .. I think he might hesitate longer than what we could afford, McCain would probably be the best military tactic .. but would probably expand the Patriot Act more than what we want ... Tancredo, Hunter and Huckabee appear to be good, moral and tough men ... would make goood CIC's .. and presidents, but they are not given acceptable face time ... we need to have more of them.

I almost want the top 3 to implode so they (Tancredo, Hunter and Huckabee) can be highlighted a little more.

We still have time to learn and decide.
