Timmy has twice, I believe, referred to the RNC as the “Republican attack machine.”

Timmy is trying to kiss and make up with Clinton Inc. That is the slogan they are trying to use to deflect any criticism of Mrs Bill Clinton's unfitness to serve as President. Any criticism of her is dismissed as a "product of the Republican Attack Machine".

Heya Snugs!

Always nice to hear from another fine conservative female.

What with patches and all sorts of birth control that require little effort on the part of the user, damn I would think that abortion should really be rare, yea way rarer than the Dems speaketh with forked tongue. I also know that Planned Parenthood has a bevy of folks with cushy jobs they like and they got bucks to support the candidates they like.

It’s that slippery slope. Down the road in Merryland a few weeks ago we had a nutzoid woman who was discovered to have given birth recently with no infant anywhere around. They found the baby buried in her yard and more digging found the bodies of several more babies.

The woman claimed they were stillbirths and the investigators just didn’t know what to do. General scuttlebutt was that the woman gave birth to those babies, alive, and they died, somehow, some way.

Except they couldn’t prove a damn thing and it would turn out that Merryland laws are rather vague about burying bodies in your own yard, which about all the authorities had on this woman that would stick.

If there were laws against partial birth abortions this lady could have been taken to task although I’ll allow that she’s crazy. Still, she had a family, a husband....somebody knew what was going on and at the very least, this woman could have been stopped from constantly killing babies, which she evidently was doing.

If we could stop the partial birth abortion nonsense, something the pubbies CAN win as most Americans simply will not buy the notion that it’s okay to kill a baby in the womb and about to be born. The current Roe vs Wade has NO restrictions even though the most liberal countries on this planet...Sweden, Holland, etc, have limits on when abortion is illegal. But we could stop abortion beyond the first trimester, maybe the perverted notion that hey, the kid’s only a couple of months old, not much beyond being in the womb, why can’t I strangle the thing? Or how about killing the baby at birth...something that happens entirely too often and the woman walks off without a charge?

Restricting abortion in the first trimester would destroy the pub party, IF they somehow got it passed.

Now this state thing...I think it’s a great argument. In fact, duh, it should have been left to the states without a bunch of Supreme Court busybodies getting involved in such a thing.

But we know that, don’t we?

I figger, if Utah outlaws ALL abortion, well hey, those offended could...MOVE.

It’s a compromise. Hey, it might work.

Makes you wonder what the Dems are promising him under the table if he gets on board with them.

Fred talks common sense that would strike a stronger chord that most, but no, if Dems hold majorities in Congress, it’s unlikely it would pass. Not impossible, just difficult and certainly worth the effort.

LOL! Careful...the Liberals will accuse you of gay bashing.

They always do that to people who confront them with the truth. ;)

I believe it’s a non-issue. Romney called for the judge to resign and Romney was not defending the release, as Dukakas did. And, it has been on FR but we realize it’s not the same thing so does not deserve wasted time talking about it.

And no, I am not a Romney supporter. Not yet, anyway.

"She blames it on lack of enough troops from the outset."

Rummy's plan (so say several new books on the subject) was to incorporate the Iraqi Army, not fire them as Bremer was convinced to do by nefarious parties in the CIA and State who wanted to see Bush fail above all else.

Shocking if true, but Rummy initially predicted a short term occupation, untill Bremer conceded to the bad guys.
