Shrum (0 for 9) opines that Republicans have really hurt themselves with Hispanics (simply because they want to enforce the law, I guess) who will now vote for Dems in droves (who don’t want to enforce the law and in fact what to create a whole bag of goodies for illegals, to the detriment of their own citizens).

This is good practice for him. WHOMEVER goes up against the wench in a debate or as our candidate will have to be strong and determined--unlike our Congress.

The American people want a tough guy to stand up for true Conservative values.

Another example of that is Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania.

For a really hair-raising, bloodflow-to-the-brain-increasing article about a dem run city, read the from WSJ linked on RealClearPolitics this morning.

Race and Crime in New Orleans
Disarray in the district attorney’s office, which faces a discrimination lawsuit.

BY DOUGLAS MCCOLLAM

NEW ORLEANS—It was a little after 12:30 last Saturday afternoon when they carried the body of New Orleans Police officer Thelonious “Tank” Dukes out of the St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in the city’s Sixth Ward, just outside of the historic French Quarter.

Dukes, 47, had been shot twice in a gun battle in October that erupted after would-be thieves ...

Mistake...Mary is no ones fool, imho.

######

No problem with Mary’s brain. She is just a part of the group who were so effective in the Nineties/Clinton/Gingrich era, and who have lost their steam or something now. Just a fact of aging probably. Who are the best conservative spokesmen/debaters now?

I wish we had some Lynn Cheney clones who could hit all the shows.

Perhaps the best are just not on tv any longer, but are doing radio, writing books and controlling websites.

I was depressed after Freddie and Charles (whom I respect tremendously) wrote off Fred’s chances last week. Now, after watching Fred punch FNS in the nose for their bias, I am reinvigorated!

Yes, Lynne Cheney! Wouldn't SHE make must see TV debating the wench for the Presidency.

Course Dick is looking forward to the peace and quiet of fly-fishing in the lakes of Wyoming and wouldn't want to live in the White House and in D.C. for another 8 years.

Starting off with Fred on taxes. I am liking it.

Lower rates and repeal the AMT.

Like I said, Iowa and New Hampshire are out. South Carolina is the primary to watch. That is for Republicans. Fred will win SC!

I’m off to mass and my catechism class. See y’all at noon central!

Wallace (what is it I don’t like about his mouth) tries to trap FDT with an abortion question.

Excellent answer. Let’s direct our energy to things that can actually get done.

We don’t get to see Fox News Sunday until 6:00PM Eastern. Glad to hear Fred did great! I knew he would. Why? Because he is consistant and knows exactly how he stands on the issues and how he differs from the other candidates. He has put out detailed plans on the issues and when folks read them they know Fred is the man! GO FRED!

Because he is consistant and knows exactly how he stands on the issues and how he differs from the other candidates.

And he is very intelligent.

Well hey, I admit it’s just me.

But why do I feel like I’ve seen plenty of Mike Huckabee but not enough of Fred Thompson?

Again...it could be me. Perhaps I’m too eager.

Fred is taking a hammer to Chris Wallace on this Fox mantra about how he can’t win.

FNC is Rooty country.

I think it’s our nature to want more from someone who has views we agree with the most. It seems like every GOP candidate has something that we have to get past and Thompson has fewer hurdles to overcome than the rest.
