Howie keeps pushing his website, HOWIECARR.COM, however, that url takes you right to the RKO site and NOT to the howie sight which used to be accessible by typing HOWIECARR.COM..........

I know, they need to change it! This goes back to when he was coming back and they wanted to take people to the main page of the ‘RKO site for something...forgot to change it back.

It SHOULD re-direct to:

Tom Bronkenjaw trashes Rush on Ingraham’s show (heard
in Boston 9-midnight on WTKK 96.9)

from http://www.newsbusters.com

“Former NBC anchor Tom Brokaw took his publicity tour for his Sixties book “Boom!” into (at least somewhat) hostile territory on Monday’s Laura Ingraham show. Ingraham played an old clip in which Brokaw slapped talk radio as “instantly jingoistic and savagely critical” of people questioning war. Like many other journalists who instantly let conservatives know they haven’t listened to Rush Limbaugh, Brokaw insisted Limbaugh “doesn’t want to hear another point of view, except his.” Ingraham disagreed. Brokaw added: “The problem with talk radio is they only want to hear one note...The problem with talk radio is they mock anyone else’s point of view, and they do it often in a mindless fashion.” This is rich talk coming from a man whose network hired Bill Moyers as his newscast’s only commentator in 1995, and a man who wrote a syrupy tribute to hot liberal mock-jock Jon Stewart for his “Athenian” ideals in Time magazine”

I kept listening to Rush, rather than thinking of listening to Laura, so I missed that hour (2-3) that had the interview on WVMT.

So, with Bozell saying Hillary hired private dicks to follow the big di, um, her husband.

Where the heck did she get the money? Embezzle from clients of the Rose Law Firm?

Probably...
I did hear Laura’s interview with Brokaw on WTKK (again,
they have the show on a 12 hr delay!). He feels that
talk radio is one sided...(but as Laura pointed out,
it’s a reaction to the lib media out there—and as a caller
pointed out, hosts like Rush _ARE_ equal time!)

But—you can hear it here! Audio via http://www.newsbusters.com

Thanks for the link.

Laura was too nice to Brokaw.

What a whiner. There's real dialogue in talk radio, not so in the rarefied atmospheres of LA, NYC, DC, & Montana.

Globe cartoonist (former?) Larry Johnson of WEEI's Big Show did a drawing of Sean Taylor. Basically a TRACING of a pic he found online. "We Thought You Wouldn't Notice"

Are there any websites which presently keep track of all Massachusetts ballot initiatives which are trying to get onto the ‘08 state ballot?

not sure—possibly something on official state site. Howie mentioned the income tax abolishment one and a few others

I did just spot this:
http://davideisenthal.typepad.com/the_eisenthal_report/2007/11/2008-massachuse.html

>>November 24, 2007
2008 Massachusetts Ballot Questions

Four referendum questions have moved a step closer to being on the ballot in Massachusetts next November.

These questions would ban greyhound racing, decriminalize marijuana, repeal the state’s income tax, and repeal portions of a development law known as Chapter 40B.

Advocates of the questions needed to get at least 66,593 signatures by November 21 - an amount equal to three percent of the ballots cast in last year’s Gubernatorial election. The town and city clerks in the 351 cities and towns have until Monday, the 26th, to certify the signatures. The Secretary of State then has until Wednesday, the 28th, to accept the signatures.

If the Secretary of State determines that the questions have received sufficient signatures, the legislature then has until the first Wednesday in May to pass the questions into law. If the legislature does not enact the questions, advocates then must obtain another 11,099 signatures - 0.5 percent of the 2006 Gubernatorial ballots - by June 18 in order for the questions to appear on the November ballot.
