Interesting article. It will be interesting to see how this project turns out.
If this guy believes this film will help Romney, he is mistaken. Could be that he is simply interested in making money.

Christians ministering to Mormons here
I could vote for somebody who was BORN INTO Mormanism fairly easily; I couldn’t vote for somebody who converted to it. The Mormon church functions mainly as a support group for middle class people trying to raise children, which is commendable. The good news for Mormons is that most people don’t really give a rat’s *** for theology; that’s good news for Mormons because theirs is in desperate need of work. What Mormons call theology is vanishingly close to what most people call science fiction.
OK, It’s religious belief at election time again? I didn’t realise that Christianity was our state religion? Who cares what the candidate believes in or how he worships God. He can be an agnostic, so long as he gives his heart to the protection and welfare of the country. So he belongs to a different branch of Christianity, so what? The SOS happened when JFK ran, and Alfred Smith too. Remember the fear that the Pope was going to have control over the USA through a Catholic President? If it got down to Romney and Lieberman on the same ticket I’d vote for them. It’ll still be better than what will be on the opposing side. Lets cut the crap, this is politics not religion. We should be concerned about the economical and domestic well being of the USA, not the beliefs of any particular religious group. I’m not leaning towards Romney as a candidate, but at the same time, I’m not going to hold his religious beliefs against him nor any one else’s.
The article quotes Christing saying that most people don’t realize that Mitt Romney is not the first Mormon to run for President. In other words, most people are unaware that Mitt’s father, George Romney, ran for President.
That's ALWAYS how it is; isn't it!
Love or 'hate'; never a middle ground.
I don’t care for Romney. His Mormonism is the LAST reason for a Christian to withhold support for the man. Mormons are perhaps not Christians exactly in the way most of us think of Christianity but LDS is the most consistent and thorough repository of Christian values in America.
Joseph Smith=Elmer Gantry?

Be vewy vewy quiet: I’m hunting Mowmans . . .
(Oops, wrong Elmer!)
I won't be voting for Mitt in the primary. (I would vote for him in the general election if he gets the nomination.)
Romney’s Mormonism should not be an issue, any more than JFK’s Catholicism was a proper issue.

If only Catholics (I am one), Evanglicals, Protestants, Baptists, etc raised their kids as well as Mormons and stay with the same woman our country would be a heck of alot better off. Just for his family values, I would be at least satisfied to have him as President. Duncan is STILL my first choice as obviously he raised his children correctly and is married to the same woman!!! Two awesome examples of family values that is for sure.
Mitt’s religion issue is irrelevant. Nothing to see here..move along.
What is this—the unstaked thread that will not die?
OK, the founder of the laid-back Saints, Joseph Smith, jumped out a bedroom window to avoid a jealous husband, but forgot he was on the third floor and almost broke his git-along.
The close call made him think that maybe he should do some pre-paid funeral planning, so he went to see the local undertaker.
“For a man of your status, Mr. Smith, I suggest the gilded carriage with plumed black stallions, then a lead-lined vault . . .
Joe cut him off and said, “Something cheaper.”
“Well, then there’s our granite crypt with perpetual lilies and a mourner every . . .”
No. Cheaper.
“Mr. Smith, really! I suppose we could glue a rough pine-box together then just toss you into a hole in the ground!”
That will work. I’ll only need it for three days anyway . . .
