Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me." So much for Jesus respecting other religions... :)

I think there is a “Lost” episode on this...where Jesus accidentally lands on the island on a boat with a bunch of disciples. They shared a small basket of fish and bread on the beach with 100 folks, forgave all the bad folks on the island, converted all the “Lost” population to Christianity, and solved the “Lost” puzzle by sundown. The network had to cut this episode totally...it was just too unbelievable.

I can't understand the obvious waste of money on this. Doomed from the start. Are they that removed from reality? How could this get the green light?
Man, one more serving of fish sticks would double their IQ's.

and discovers the principles that are the bedrock of all the world's great religions," said Drew Heriot, the film's director, whose credits include the cult hit The Secret. I wonder what this ignoramus is talking about?
If there is common bedrock between Christianity and islam, it has managed to escape me all my life.

For the past two hundred years or so, western infidels have been in love with the Idia that the Jewish prophets were influenced by eastern Ideas. They have not been discouraged by the total lack of evidence. One can just as plausibly argue that Indians were influenced by Jewish ideas. Let them make a movie about St. Thomas in Malabar.

I would love to the gutless trash in Hollywood depict Mohommed.....especially in a Last Temptation of Christ manner. But you wont see that happen...
I'd be willing to bet that hollyweird would be a lot more respectful of Christians and Christianity if a few producers and writes had their heads sawed off, like muslims have a nasty habit of doing when they get "offended."
But NO! Christians have to be nice...

The Bhagavad Gita is far older than the St. Thomas event.

Wasn't Joseph of Arimathea His uncle. He had the legal right to collect His body and bury Him in his never used tomb. Further, where did Mary His mother get taken?Yes, in fact, Jesus was adopted into the House of Heli on his 30th birthday- Most probably into Joseph of Aramathea's House (as the son of Heli, and Mary's brother.) Not only does this suggest the death of Jesus' father Joseph, but is the reason for Jesus' blood right to the kingship and inheritance of Judah, as his father's blood was of an accursed line.
Mary is claimed to have gone to Glastonbury, along with Joseph of Aramathea (and others), but IMO, she wound up wit the Apostle John in Antioch. Tis would follow closely with the Biblical account (John being given charge of Mary at the Cross), and their graves are known and evident in Antioch (and curiously absent in Mary's case in considering Glastonbury).

What's so terrible about the Son of God living an ordinary human life for his first 30 years or so? Absolutely nothing.
But what does Hollywood know about "ordinary human life?"
