They aren’t in denial they are just in hiding trying to figure out who will be the one to give the moonbat base the bad news.

Democrats are in denial until they can find a way to take credit for all the success.

Indeed, despite all of the evidence proving that President Bush's surge has been successful, Senate Majority leader Harry Reid is still pushing legislation to set a timetable for the quick withdrawal of all U.S. forces.

The Surrendercrats have a huge stake invested in snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. If there is any justice in the worled, it should cost them big time in '08.

The American people like a winner. They can see American troops are doing a bang up job and coming home - mission accomplished. And they see the Democrats don't respect the troops or reward their sacrifices. That will have an effect in November 2008.

For the Iraqis, the only enemy they have left to defeat is the Democratic Party in America.

I suppose the question now is, will the new media succeed in getting the truth to that portion of America still under the spell of the fourth-estate-fifth-column-within?

Will Bush be vindicated in time to positively affect the '08 election? How can a reasonable person dispute that, when Iraq becomes a functioning democracy, the war will have been justified from a strategic standpoint, not to mention the humanitarian one.

Either the old media will or won't be able to sway public opinion to the extent that Democrats will continue to be enabled to ignore reality with impunity.

It won’t matter how good things are if the RATs win in 2008, so we can’t get lax. Things were going good in Vietnam when we pulled out, but that didn’t prevent the Dems from pulling defeat from the jaws of victory.

To admit that we're winning, they'd be eating a whole lotta crow. So many of them have already proclaimed Iraq and the surge a lost cause -- at this point there's no way they can save face. If they were smart they'd just admit they were wrong and tell the President they think he did a good job!
