While, not being an agenda driven journalist, you asked the relevant question: “What per-cent does the black population of D.C. comprise?
The answer to your question is 60%. In addition, the population is skewed with females outnumbering males, 53% to 47%. ( http://www.idcide.com/citydata/dc/washington.htm )
So while blacks comprise 60% of the population their holding of 80% of HIV cases in the District indicates that their likelihood of having an HIV infection is 133% greater than would be the case if HIV infections were evenly distributed by race.
Although the article mentions that figures for females are up, in Washington D.C., it fails to say exactly what they are, and if history on these numbers are any guide they still remain much lower than figures for males.
The result - HIV rates in predominately black Washington D.C. - is not a “genetically” induced result, and is not due to “race”. It is culturally induced and in part is a continuation of the liberal-welfare-entitlement-society induced breakdown of the family unit among black Americans.
You don’t have to be straight to not get AIDS. What you have to be is faithful. I’ll start giving a damn again when I start seeing signs that say “Monogamy prevents AIDS. Promiscuity promotes it.”

Yessir.
And, agenda-driven reporter, the percentage of these AIDS “victims” that are non-drug using, monogamous heterosexuals is?

True. Men who live on the d.l. (down low) i.e. secretly leading a gay life are spreading AIDs to their wives and girlfriends in record numbers. It’s one thing if they want to kill themselves by promiscuous sex and entirely another bringing HIV home to the family.
