Barack Obama lashes out at Hillary Clinton on Nightline

Barack Obama has some choice words for Hillary Clinton in an interview to air tonight on ABC's " Nightline."

Obama accuses his chief Democratic rival of selectively casting her years as first lady. "I think the fact of the matter is that Senator Clinton is claiming basically the entire eight years of the Clinton presidency as her own, except for the stuff that didn't work out, in which case she says she has nothing to do with it," Obama says, according to a report from ABC News

"There is no doubt that Bill Clinton had faith in her and consulted with her on issues, in the same way that I would consult with [my wife] Michelle, if there were issues. On the other hand, I don't think Michelle would claim that she is the best qualified person to be a United States senator by virtue of me talking to her on occasion about the work I've done."

Hehe. Hillary claiming the entire 8 years of the Clinton presidency as her own? I'm shocked.

I have no doubt that she was running (down) the White House while Bill was preoccupied with living out his perversions.

Wow! A case of the stopped clock being right twice a day! And where are the records of her co-presidency? Still under lock-and-key?

For a reputed educated, erudite man Obama seems to rely on slang a good bit.

Well, she was the co-president.

The question is, will Slick Willie be co-president if she should be elected (gag!) and isn’t this dancing around the intent of the 22nd Amendment?

Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

Seriously. I didn't know that "Nightline" was still on the air.
That's bad.

As the horse race handicappers say in the Daily Racing Form, in evaluating an individual horse: “Some things to like”.....about Obama, and I thought I would never say that/ But the way he’s been handling the “Clinton Treatment” is admirable, in that he’s refusing to roll over, for the sake of, say, being chosen as Veep. If SHE keeps it up, and HE keeps it up, he certainly WON’T be.
I am seriously beginning to think, and this may be weird and unprecedented, that WHOEVER the Republican nominee is, he should choose Obama as his running mate. THAT might be a certain win. Sounds ridiculous on the face of it, but think about it. I imagine Giuliani would be the ideal (R)candidate to do this though.

This will really tick her off coming from the man who regularly addresses her as “Hillary” during the debates, but addresses the other candidates as “Senator Edwards”, “Senator Biden”, etc. His deliberate lack of respect seems designed to trivialize her.

He addressed her as “Hillary” a few times during the debates and I’d bet money it was no accident. I never heard him call the other candidates by their first names. She beamed her frozen smile at him but her eyes were like ice, lol. How dare he!

I’m liking this. I listened to Hillary supporters on Hannity and no amount of truth coming from a conservative could possibly make them change their mind. They’d say it’s a right-wing conspiracy if Hillary got videotaped eating the hearts out of live kittens (which may just be her favorite pasttime).

But coming from another leftie, Obama, the truth might actually get through. I applaud Obama finally finding a pair, so let’s sit back and watch them eat their own. I’d prefer Obama get elected over her, as a simply misguided and naive president is far better than an evil, power-mad spinster in that position.

Her really missed a great opportunity. He should have said that his wife talks about her job as a doctor with him but he does not feel qualified to give out medical advice.

She’s termed out. You can only be president for 8 years.
