The Oprah Takes on The Clintons.

The OprahTM hits the ground soon for Barack Obama. Never let it be said The Oprah doesn't have cajones. She's going up against Bill and HIllary in a full frontal assault, wrecking havoc to Mark Penn's thesis of the unbeatable Hillary and wrecking havoc in American households. I hope American politics and families will survive. But will The Oprah and Obama? They are, please remember, going up against the Clintons. As Rush Limbaugh has pointed out, lots of people end up in a bad way when doing so. (O, you got your tax records in order? Prepare to be audited if Mrs. Bill Clinton gets elected)

But here's the thing -- and I think the Godzilla picture is apt: like Godzilla tearing up Tokyo, The Oprah is going to tear up the Clinton play book. Mrs. Bill Clinton, remember, has been trying to frame herself as the sensitive Mrs. Bill Clinton, not the ice queen of Hillarycare. She's been talking up her religion, gabbing it up with her husband, and pushing out the Tammy Wynette stories (despite her 1992 mocking) about how she stood by her man. She's loyal and lovable down to the ankles.

B Hussein would probably do less damage to the country if he got elected.

I would rather not chance Hillry getting in - the damage would be incredible, and not repairable for decades.

As far as who would be more beatable - it’s hard to factor in the Clinton fraud machine.

Oprah isn’t stupid and she won’t be directly saying anything about, or confronting, Hil-Rod.

Once Hil-Rod gets the nomination Oprah will have her on the show and they’ll have a good cry over it. If they can throw in a “dog adoption debacle” as a part of it, so much the better.

“Bill Clinton was on oprah just the other day, giving away $500 G’s to some kids aids in Africa charity. (what a waste of money)
I guess that’s bills way of showing Oprah’s audience that he’s black too, and contributes to the bottomless welfare pit better than anyone else can?”

. . . which leads me to believe that the Oprah/Obama thing is all part of the Clinton/Clinton/O/O strategy.

I am no fan of Oprah Winfrey, but she must be appalled by the near-Soviet character of our Presidential elections, where, if the polls are correct, this nation will be subject to a Hillary Clinton vs. Rudy Giuliani race. Remember that in a few Communist countries of Eastern Europe, the powers that be tried to maintain a facade of democracy by having a managed opposition group that may have been a shade less Marxist than the official party on a few issues, like freedom of religion or private farmland ownership. Whether the opponents are mainstream (Thompson, Biden) or fringe (Paul, Kucinich), none appear to get any traction, with the possible exception of Romney. A Hillary vs. Giuliani race offers about as much choice as Coke vs. Pepsi.

Oprah should already know the majority of her female audience already is in the Hillry camp.

Yes, but how firmly? If anybody can move them to Obama, it's Oprah, the video therapist for challenged women and OJ Juror wannabes.

So you now have a likable, unqualified, good looking blackman vs. an unlikable, unqualified, ugly woman.

I have often said I like everything about Obama except for his political views. :)

Don’t feel bad.
I think I knew what cojones were, but I was mistaken about cajones.

I thought they were ‘boxers.’

Hence: “Keep your cojones in your cajones, Bill.”

And if a black man wasn’t running, she would be jumping all over “The Woman”. IMO

Isn’t it nice to see a nicely correct typo/misspelling? Rare on the internet. Rare indeed. Nothing shows lack of intellegence than rudely correcting an error.

Yes, but Bill felt good about it, so it was the right thing to do. Libs do not face reality very well.

The ones I know have raised their daughters to follow Hillry while watching the emotional tear-filled counseling sessions every afternoon. See to these that I know, Hillry is a martyr for the better good of staying by her wild two year old mentality husband. They love to point to allll these divorced 'holier' than thou conservatives who are going on their 2nd and 3rd divorces calling for family values. Oprah is not taking on Hillry she is giving gravitas to a politician still in diapers.

Well it does offer the choice of the Clinton domestic enemies punishment/harrassment/etc. program vs. a former NYC mayor...
