Giuliani: I'm really not a Republican. I ran as a Liberal - which really confuses people.
Add dishonest to his list of qualifications.
He’s a shoe-in.
“O Lord, out of his own mouth, comes Thy judgement!”
Fusion candidacy..........
The more I learn about Rudy, the more I’m convinced that, even if he’s nominated as the Republican candidate, I will not vote for him.
ROMNEY:
“I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. I’m not trying to return to Reagan-Bush.”
Boston Herald, 10/27/94
Rudy says anything to get elected, keeps his word for a few months, then reverts to who he actually is. And who he actually is has little to do with conservative beliefs.
He’ll run, in the primary at least, as the man who will appoint Thompson-Roberts-Scalia judges, then lessen his word just a little bit in the general (if, God help us, he wins nomination), then, if elected, will appoint according to his word. . .at first. Then, in a probable dim Senate, he’ll back off saying “You know I tried fellas. Gotta have the votes, and we don’t have them. Maybe in my second term, then I’ll keep my word.”
Rudy lies, babies will die.
I forgot the video, it can’t really be a rhino fight without video of them both proving they aren’t conservatives.

That’s basically what Arnold has done in CA. And I think it’s the same gameplan most RINOs have.
It would be helpful to view the video before calling him a liar.
Rudy was as good a mayor as New York is likely to see. I'm glad he served in that capacity. But he's much too far to the left on social issues to merit my support for President -- and I say that as one who is an economic conservative first, and a social conservative second.
NYC has a long history of RINOs -- Bloomberg, Rudy, Lindsay, LaGuardia (who ran as a "fusion" candidate on the GOP and Socialist[!] tickets). Of these, Rudy was clearly the best, actually displaying some free-market, low-tax, anti-corruption, and law and order tendencies. I am truly grateful for his efforts in (partially) de-worming the Big Apple. His credentials are not good enough, however, for the Oval Office.
Another disturbing note in the drumbeat of revelations about our “frontrunner.”
The real problem is that this is not mudslinging. None of the frontrunners have anything in common with the the conservative idea of Taft/Goldwater/Reagan.
Rather it is the consequence of GW Bush’s “compassionate conservatism” and the “Big Tent” strategy for enlarging the Republican Party. Advocates of big government now dominate the Republican Party. The differences between the Republicans and Democrats arise from differing priorities in growing government and competing interests for government largesse rather than philosophy and principles.
That's why I will NOT vote for him as President--I do NOT want a 'fusion President'--I want a conservative one!!

Unfortunately for him, he's the solution to problems that most people in this country don't have.
Yep.
