Just Like Real Leadership:The Hillary Clinton Hostage Crisis
The American Thinker ^ | 12/1/07 | clarice feldman

My late mother-in-law used to say of anything that tasted good to her," It's just like from the can." It made us all laugh, but she was seriously unable to distinguish between good food and pap. Frankly, that's what I think of the efforts by AP, Larry Sabato and others to suggest that Hillary's role in Friday's hostage crisis reveals she is a leader. It debases real leadership with the ersatz, highly salted and laced-with-preservatives stuff.

Sabato and AP are making fools of themselves over Hillary's performance yesterday.

I thought John Edwards also did an admirable job facing this crisis. I think he canceled something and closed some campaign offices.

As always, Clarice Feldman nailed it and you’re correct about the others making fools of themselves.

Let's not forget that these are the same liberals who convinced themselves that the way to win the 2004 election was to support a decorated veteran of an unpopular war who had no executive experience at all. They also considered him a war hero, and were surprised when some people said that he wasn't much of a hero, after all.

This is part of the reason why the three top candidates for the Democrat nomination are all Senators, with no practical executive leadership experience to speak of; Democrats hate people who actually accomplish things, and take responsibility for their actions.

I guess we will learn sometime later that Chelsea was jogging in the area at the time!

Clarice Feldman nailed it

We men might be well-advised to just let the women take care of Hillary...

Even the BDS-blinded moonbats can see through this lame MSM effort to foist the beast on us.

Yeah they really are. But Sabato and AP have a very long history of being in the tank for the DNC. Expect to see a lot of this sort of Campaign propaganda claiming to be “analysis” for the next year.

HEH! Or that Richard Clarke sent the Pres a memo where in invisible ink it warned him of a potential hostage crisis somewhere in the world this century.

i would not be surprised to learn someday that CCN staged this entire hostage situation for Hillary... and it woudn't surprise me if they admitted it, saying, "we just wanted to see how she would handle something like this."

/sarcasm/

This is the most shameless boot licking I can remember. I mean this is preposterous, CNN has always been in the tank for the Democrats but this nonsense about Clinton being ‘calm’, or looking ‘regal’ about some event she was not even near has got to be the ‘jump the shark’ moment of this campaign.

This was one the most fake set-ups the Clintons have ever pulled!!! Are people buying that this really happened on Friday afternoon in time for Hillary not to have to talk before the DNC? The guy had CNN’s phone numbers? Come ON!!! And had to get out the message that “ordinary people need help” (I think I saw that in the campaign lit...) Very skeptical person here....

Of course they are. Now they're supporting the wife of a pardoned draft-dodger, sexual abuser of women, and proven perjurer. And she also has no executive experience at all.

The 'hostage-taker' should get his schedule straight. He was supposed to show up at the Republican Debate and make a few remarks about how hard it is to get mental health care.
