The libs will abandon Hillary in a heartbeat for someone more electable. In 2004, they abandoned the anointed Howard Dean for John Kerry. They may do the same next year for Barack Obama and leave Hillary behind in the dust.

Further, many and perhaps most voters in 2008 will have been born after 1980.

No way. Older people still vote in far greater numbers than young people.

That person is defnitely not Barack Obama. Anyone who thinks that must be on Smack. He's a lefty lefty with almost no track record. That would be a dream come true, to me, to see him nominated.

The left’s fawning over that unqualified empty suit is inexplicable, except that they know he would be putty in the hands of whoever gets hold of him first. I am more qualified to be president, and that ain’t saying much!

I know quite a few libs and NONE of them LIKE Hillary.

I think her momentum has come from the fact that they LOVE Bill and HATE Bush.

In conversations with these libs (they know I’m conservative) they don’t even try to defend her to me.

They are indicating a turn towards Edwards. They like Obama, but are uncomfortable with his lack of experience.

They aren’t abandoning her. They are just lowering expectations a tad to make her look better when she does win the nomination. There is no way Obama has a chance aginst the Clinton machine. A more seasoned candidate might but Obama is still wet behind the ears. Its a joke he is even running.

Not a chance. Of course, should Obama get elected the media would quite properly consider that they got him there and expect a commensurate privilege from his administration. They'd be disappointed - only an honest politician stays bought.

Now let's look at a couple of cold facts. Hillary owns the machine that the NY Times is part of whether the "Gay Mafia" on its board like it or not. They either play ball or they're frozen out of her White House, and the Republicans aren't going to come to their rescue after eight straight years of incessant Bush-bashing. They have no choice in the matter. Frank Rich and Mo Dowd can pontificate all they want to and it won't mean a thing. And they'll come around. They don't have any choice either.
