Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
Sun just went down here...................
Howcome it’s spelled with an “X”?............
That is the Cyrillic letter closest to the English “H.”
Probably because that's the best you can do if you try to transliterate the sound of the Hebrew letter chet (close to the German "ch" as in "mach") into the Cyrillic alphabet.
Why don’t they just use “CH”?..........
They are in Russia writing in a different alphabet.
Well, dang! We should loan them some vowels and a few consonants! We can give them a “K” since it’s not really necessary!...............
Happy Hanukkah! My son was asking me about Hanukkah tonight. His best friend was telling him about it today at school, as he is half Jewish. I am fairly certain that his mom didn’t convert though because they celebrate Christmas too. I think I will look up the Hanukkah story tonight on the web and read it to my son. I’ll show him these pictures too! :)

That’s Russian. “X” is the “Ch” sound.
Thanks, Alouette. Chag sameach!
Well, no wonder Russian is so difficult! All their letters are in the wrong place!..............and some of them are backwards!.............
May HaShem's Torah soon illuminate the entire world!
How was your Thanksgiving?
Okay. Our teeny little family gathered for food and DVD's of old "Ramar of the Jungle" TV shows. What's not to like?
