"To deny a significant portion of tomorrow's workforce any higher education opportunities will not only hurt these young people... but it will also significantly diminish their incomes forever."

That takes the cake! We can't diminish the future incomes of those prohibited by law from working here.

"Tomorrow's workforce"... only if this country let's either a Democrat or Huckabee/McCain/Giulliani become President.

The most militant pro-illegal forces in this country are in the Public Education Establishment from local school districts to higher education.

It makes a nice acronym, doesn’t it.

U.S. Constitution, Article 4 Section 4:

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,

and shall protect each of them against Invasion;"

Invasion: \In*va"sion\, n. [L. invasio: cf. F. invasion. See Invade.] [1913 Webster]

1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.

QUISLING: a synonym for traitor, someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country.

Current federal law 8USC 1373(a) PROHIBITS SANCTUARY CITIES. It reads as follows:

"Notwithstanding any other provision of federal, state, or local law, a federal, state, or local government entity or official may not prohibit, or in any way restrict any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual."

So gracious of them to offer OUR money to support illegals. Grrrrrr. As if it were his very own money and he was elected by We the People.

“That Governments are instituted/ deriving their powers from the Consent of the Governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it.”

I’ll tell you, I take great hope in these words from the Declaration of Independence, but it seems the annointed/ appointed ‘helpers’ believe they OWN things and get to enforce the laws in their own ways.

Easley said the community colleges are trying to deal with the fact that, right or wrong, illegal immigrants are here.

"It's like catching a cold. I don't want a cold, ... but if I get it, I'm going to deal with it. I'm going to take the aspirin and whatever it is I got to do.

No, Governor Dumbass. If it were like catching a cold then you'd be taking aspirin etc., to deal with the cold and help you get rid of it!

Your solution is not to take meds to help deal with the cold your solution is to wrap yourself in cold, wet towels and stand outside in freezing weather to help perpetuate the cold!

Somebody should investigate President Martin Lancaster’s bank accounts and links to foreign handlers. A psychiatric evaluation might also be needed.

Lancaster, whose successor is to be named Thursday, issued a lengthy eight-point statement Tuesday arguing that extending higher education to all residents was crucial for the state's economic future and was "the right thing to do."

Lancaster, like Trent Lott, "bravely took a stand" supporting illegals because they are leaving their positions.

The cowards couldn't wait to stick it to the citizens.

Here’s my standard post. We can do something about Illegal immigration.

RICO —Citizen Recourse

Private persons and entities may initiate civil suits to obtain injunctions and treble damages against enterprises that conspire to or actually violate federal alien smuggling, harboring, or document fraud statutes, under the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO). The pattern of racketeering activity is defined as commission of two or more of the listed crimes. A RICO enterprise can be any individual legal entity, or a group of individuals who are not a legal entity but are associated in fact, and can include nonprofit associations.

Here’s what I’ve been pushing: it’s time to file Racketeering, Influencing, and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) lawsuits.

RICO lawyers could turn it around in a few years and MAKE MONEY at the same time. I’m surprised they haven’t done it already.

In the absence of enforcement, we can get the word out in the meantime that there is money to be made in filing RICO lawsuits against employers who hire illegal aliens.

Employers would have no trouble shutting down the border if they could get sued by someone under the RICO statutes for hiring these people in the first place. The next time an illegal alien kills someone in a drunk driving accident or somesuch thing, I’m going to point out that the victim’s family might be able to seek compensation from the employer under these statutes in the hopes that it would catch on. If this did catch on, would see such a swift backlash against illegal immigration that no employer would go near these people and they’ll all simply want to go back home.

IRS Reporting
REWARD FOR REPORTING EMPLOYERS OF ILLEGAL ALIENS
CALL THE IRS HOTLINE 1-800-829-0433 YOU MAY BE ENTITLED TO A REWARD
Call the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) hotline 1-800-829-0433 to report all
suspected employers of illegal aliens-—you are not required to identify
yourself and may be entitled to a reward. The Application for Reward ( Form 211 http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f211.pdf)
can be downloaded from http://www.irs. gov or call 1-800-829-3676. The IRS does
not take kindly to employers that seek to evade taxes by paying cash for day
labor-this is a common practice at construction sites. Report the employer`s
license plate number and any other information you may have. Employers usually
can’t run and take the hit in their wallets. Follow up with the IRS and ask
what action is being taken; if they refuse to cooperate, notify the press and
your elected officials. Do your part-—spread the word-—help make this
nationwide campaign a success!!!

Hunter’s criticism of Thompson over this issue is well aimed. We need someone in the white house who isn’t a johnny-come-lately on this issue.
