These photos must be faked! I have it on good authority (Rosie O’Donnell) that fire can’t melt steel.

Wow! great pictures.
I notice that once again burning hydrocarbon melts metal.
And nobody hurt, that’s the best thing.
To: Boston Blackie
And no one was killed. Now that’s a minor miracle.

Rotary intersection ? Streets intersect in a circle rather than having stop signs or lights. The Boston area is full of them. They are a lot of fun if you like bumper cars.

In Everett? How many sub shops burned down?
To: Reaganesque
That said, and I'm kinda ashamed to admit this but, the first picture you posted makes it look like the firemen are peeing on the fire.
The guy in the middle seems to have a healthy flow but the guy right behind him might want to see a doctor.
I know, I know...go to my room...fine...

Yes, and gasoline, ingited during the crash, poured down an embankment into a residential area causing havoc.
To: Boston Blackie
Wow. How surreal... firehoses become snowmakers and excess firefighting water freezes on whatever isn’t on fire. Fire and ice.

All things considered better than molasses. What a story that was .... For years, after that disaster, the aroma of molasses permeated the North End on a humid summer night.
To: Boston Blackie
Amazing pictures. What’s more amazing is that no one died.

Wow! great pictures.I must admit ... I copped them from the Boston Globe.

LOL. Whatever it takes. No major injuries!!!
To: Boston Blackie
I didn’t think you actually took them! lol

They are a lot of fun if you like bumper cars. Because no one seems to remember the basic rule of the rotary;
The vehicle in the rotary has the right of way. If you drive on Cape Cod in the Summer, you'd better know and practice that one.
