I'm not trying to exonerate him, but I will not place all the blame at his feet. Yeah, Reagan said it was a mistake, AFTER he did it. We have a saying down here about "closing the gate AFTER the horse is out". And don't take that as bashing Ronald Reagan, I view him as the greatest President in my lifetime.

Think of me as one who has tired of "crying in the wilderness" after being ignored for far too long.

I make no excuses for the President, but I will not stand silent with the leftist style of bashing "it's all Bush's fault".

That's a crock and you know it.

This guy has potential as a taser training target.

It’s not leftist style bashing.

It’s taking a good hard look in the mirror at the person who is directly responsible for leading this nation into wherever it is.

Bush is that person.

And he’s the person I *used* to be willingly criticized for being such a “bot” about.

He’s done more harm than I could have ever imagined. And had I known back in 2000 what I now know about how much he’s changed, especially apparent to me since 2002 or so, and especially since 2004, I’d have never ever been on my knees to pray for his winning the election, and would never have thrown myself into his campaign support.

But, my eyes were opened, by Bush himself.

Come now, with the given alternatives, you would have done just what in 2000 and/or 2004?

I have no qualms with blaming him for not fixing "part" of the problem. Feel free and I will agree. But as I said earlier, when approx 30 Presidents and Congresses did nothing, you cannot point the finger solely at him.

I honestly don't think most conservatives did their due diligence when they bash him for turning. He NEVER was a full blown conservative as governor either. Wishful thinking? Lesser of two evils? Pick your poison.

I wish he weren’t.

He doesn’t deserve even the food he’s getting to keep him alive.

Good people have been starved to death for much lessor “crimes” of not being able to talk to defend themselves.

I am not. But, the finger in the dike that has been going on ain't working. There's a flood coming through. How he thinks that NOT doing anything, "like all the other presidents have done," is actually any longer acceptable is truly ridiculous thinking.

Never said it was acceptable, just that he was not the only one at fault.

Pinged you to another thread. The guy got 3 life sentences.

I'm trying to get some work done, watch football, watch grandsons, AND keep up with a couple of threads.

Not doing any of them very well. LOL

Cowboys did, pulling for the Steelers now and they're not doing so good.

I enjoyed it, thanks.

I’ve always liked the cowboys....but, football’s never been my favorite sport. Always preferred baseball (LA dodgers). Used to go to many a game for many years.

That was back in the “good ole days” when I was younger. : )

“He strangled her so much it left bruises on her face and insect bites all over her body,” Anna Valentini said in court Thursday.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
He strangled her till she was covered with insect bites??? THat’s an interesting trick. I wonder how he did that.
I think it's BS trying to put all the blame on the President.
Oh, but didn't Bush run on law and order?
