An InsiderAdvantage/Majority Opinion survey conducted for the Southern Political Report and released this weekend shows Sen. Barack Obama with a slight lead over Sen. Hillary Clinton in the South Carolina Democratic presidential primary. The survey of 430 likely voters shows Obama with 26% of the vote and Clinton with 24%.
The poll asked: " If the vote in the South Carolina Democratic presidential primary were held today, who would you vote for?
Barack Obama: 26%
Hillary Clinton: 24%
John Edwards: 15%
Joe Biden: 10%
Bill Richardson: 2%
Dennis Kucinich: 1%
Chris Dodd: 0%
Mike Gravel: 0%
No Opinion: 22%
The poll surveyed 430 Democratic likely voters, for a margin of error of plus or minus 5%.InsiderAdvantage CEO Matt Towery said, I have no doubt that these numbers are indicative of a major turn of events in South Carolina."Our prior polls of this primary showed Clinton splitting the African-American vote almost evenly with Obama. But, according to our South Carolina Insider editor Lee Bandy, who has spent 40 years as the top political writer at The State newspaper in Columbia, South Carolina, word of the impending visit by Oprah Winfrey to South Carolina on behalf of Obama this weekend spread throughout the black community in the state. Consequently, the new survey shows Obama leading by a small margin
Another in a long line of meaningless polls where the undecideds are high up in the top three.
I know it’s early, but I thing Obama has big Mo and big O as in Oprah. The inclusion of the Oprah into the democrat primary was the death knell for hillary. I think she may end up on the ticket as VP with Barak Hussein Osama Obama as the democrat standard-bearer.
Looks like the ‘Rat GOTV gears will have to turn a bit earlier this time around - and serve double duty. Besides getting dead and illegals to vote ‘Rat for the general, they’ll need to get them going for Hil! for the early primaries too.
undecideds don’t vote in primaries.
No Opinion: 22%
That’s right up there with the front-runners. Also this poll has a 5% margin of error. Hummmmmmm.
yes but even someone who will vote in every midterm election isn’t necessarily going to vote in a primary.
>undecideds dont vote in primaries
Ummmm. Yes, they do. - However, I see your point.
Order more popcorn!
I want to see Hillary have a Howard Stern moment, reveal her true self, and exit stage left for obscurity.
Unfortunately she will go back to the Senate in the majority party where she will continue to wreck her Socialistic havoc on this country!

Hillary has an ace in the hole in the Dem primary. They are called Super Delegates, who can vote for whoever they want—but I am sure they are beholden to her and Bill. She can stay in the race until the end—she will still get about 40% support. Then she can call in her Super Delegate friends.
Poll is truly meaningless with undecideds at 22%.
Personally, I think:
LOL! I can just see the look on his face when they givel him that news....
LOL! And I can just see her face as she views the latest statewide tally showing Obama as the winner of the nomination. That would be a precious, priceless picture for the ages.
