Newly released tapes of President Lyndon Johnson's telephone conversations corroborate the central premise of an explosive new book that promises to completely reshape the debate over who killed President John F. Kennedy.

The surreptitious recordings, released from the Johnson library in Austin, Texas, Feb. 28, offer this bombshell missed by the press, Rosen writes: The Kennedy White House did not merely tolerate or encourage the murder of its ally, South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem, but organized and executed it.
"Triangle" authors present compelling evidence President Kennedy was killed Nov. 22, 1963, as the result of a massive conspiracy between the CIA-installed government of South Vietnam, the French global heroin syndicate and the New Orleans Mafia.
The book is based on recently declassified federal documents, material supplied by the KGB, information from the Bonano crime family, documents obtained from a French court and the only interview done with a French witness previously only debriefed by the FBI and CIA.
In his Weekly Standard story, Rosen writes Johnson left little doubt of his beliefs about who killed Diem in a Feb. 1, 1966, call to Sen. Eugene McCarthy in which he complained about the Kennedy administration and its left-wing allies in the Senate, who had supported Kennedy's entrance into the war but not Johnson's continuance of it.
The document affirms that an international assassin had been captured by U.S. authorities in Dallas less than 48 hours after Kennedy was shot, and that instead of arresting him, those same U.S. authorities secretly flew the assassin out of the country to freedom.

Just kidding! I do use the Kennedy assassination as an illustration of why I don't believe the Bible. The events of the New Testament floated around in unwritten form for decades. If we cannot have 95% of Americans agree on how such a well-documented event as the Kennedy assassination took place, how can we possibly know that things written down dozens of years after they were supposed to have happened weren't heavily influenced by legend, as well?
The Zapruder film didn't show him raising the gun to his head because it was bloicked by the highway sign. When he comes into range again his arms are in front of his throat having just dropped the gun after accidentially firing a first shot which hit Governor Connely. When the gun landed it blew off part of his head.

At some point, one does have to say: Who cares? I have read a story attributed to (.John Hay?) that he had observed Robert Lincoln burning his father’s letters and commenting that members of his cabinet were engaged in a conspiracy. Related to this or not, there is the notion that Stanton was involved in the Booth conspiracy in that he knews about it and let it happen. For that reason, Grant was warned/persuaded not to attend the play with Lincoln. If the guy assigned to kill Johnson had not got cold feet, and with Seward at death’s door, Stanton might have used the army to establish a dictatorship. Johnson’s survival made that impossible. BUT, just a “theory” and what does it matter now. Everyone is dead. Things happened as they happened.
That was given credence at the time.
Well, to me, the Bible is a matter of faith. You read it and either decide that God wrote it through men, or not. Even if you had all the original transcripts, it wouldn’t prove God inspired it.
It’s all about the content and how you react to it. The Bible itself tells us that even when Jesus performed amazing miracles, some believed and others didn’t.
Faith is not a matter of science or historical documentation. People believe what they want to believe.

Makes sense, no wonder Jackie tried to jump out of the car, yelling, “He is going to shoot all of us”. It could have been a murder/suicide due to Jackie and Jack fooling around on each other and Jack was too drunk to remember who to shoot first.
Joe Kennedy Sr. was senile by then. When JFK was shot, he didn't even know about it. Died never knowing.

Joe Kennedy said he would talk to them when they came home for Christmas. 9 days before that Kennedy had his massive stroke and apparently did not have the conversation.

He was going to shoot Jackie first just to increase the country's anger, but as I said he dropped the gun, it went off and killed him.
