LBJ: Kennedy White House killed U.S. ally (2003, WND)
World Net Daily ^ | September 23, 2003

Tapes support new book showing who really assassinated JFK.

Newly released tapes of President Lyndon Johnson's telephone conversations corroborate the central premise of an explosive new book that promises to completely reshape the debate over who killed President John F. Kennedy.

President Johnson believed what Richard Nixon always suspected...

The surreptitious recordings, released from the Johnson library in Austin, Texas, Feb. 28, offer this bombshell missed by the press, Rosen writes: The Kennedy White House did not merely tolerate or encourage the murder of its ally, South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem, but organized and executed it.

"Triangle" authors present compelling evidence President Kennedy was killed Nov. 22, 1963, as the result of a massive conspiracy between the CIA-installed government of South Vietnam, the French global heroin syndicate and the New Orleans Mafia.

The book is based on recently declassified federal documents, material supplied by the KGB, information from the Bonano crime family, documents obtained from a French court and the only interview done with a French witness previously only debriefed by the FBI and CIA.

In his Weekly Standard story, Rosen writes Johnson left little doubt of his beliefs about who killed Diem in a Feb. 1, 1966, call to Sen. Eugene McCarthy in which he complained about the Kennedy administration and its left-wing allies in the Senate, who had supported Kennedy's entrance into the war but not Johnson's continuance of it.

The document affirms that an international assassin had been captured by U.S. authorities in Dallas less than 48 hours after Kennedy was shot, and that instead of arresting him, those same U.S. authorities secretly flew the assassin out of the country to freedom.

This will never be answered. If you have to name one good Democratic President, John Kennedy would be the one. Too bad we were stuck with Carter and Clinton in the later years. Although I was not born during these years, many programs and school studies show that he was what a Republican is today which of course does not look good for the Republicans. Hopefully the Republicans can get back to conservative values this election.

A simpler theory is that an American communist killed a President who was anticommunist.

I don’t think there is any question that JFK put the word to the relevant folks in Sai Gon that it was time for Diem to go.
there were always plotters but they feared what the US would do if there was a coup. The US Administration let the coup-minded generals know that the US would like for Diem to go away. I doubt there were “orders” to kill him or that killing him was even deemed necessary though that was probably assumed to be likely. The rest of that stuff seems to be pretty tinfoily.

Geez... JFK had Diem killed? Who knew... except everybody who was paying attention. I can remember when it happened and Diem calling Henery Cabot Lodge, JFK's ambassador to South Vietnam, to see if Lodge could get him off the hook.

Lodge replied that he was sorry, but couldn't stop it.

Never forget that Kennedy had Patrice Lamumba whacked, nor that he and Bobby repeatedly formulated crazy plans to snuff Castro (exploding cigars, anyone?)

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Now can't we just bury Saint Jack and leave him buried?

The murder of Diem was inexcusable. Once he was gone, the ARVN went unchecked in its incompetance.

And another new theory hits the books.

If Kennedy was a decent President perhaps it would interest me.

But since his bootlegging, Mafia-connected father engineered his election, and since he screwed up the Bay of Pigs, and since he was a shameless womanizer, and since he set the basis for our flawed involvement in Viet Nam, and since his brother is Ted the Swimmer and his entire family is a collection of egocentric arrogant liberal scofflaws and worse - I could care less.

The Kennedy Administration’s assasination of Diem isn’t ‘news’ its part of recorded history. The MSM doesn’t like to mention it, which is why many don’t realize its not ‘news’ in the first place.
