Chris Wallace of Fox News Sunday called one of Mitt Romneys mailers in New Hampshire "not true." Watch the video.
What is Romneys strategy? Lie about everything through the primary? CNN caught him being dodgy yesterday. But the guy has the money to do it.
I dont think that the Republican Party wants a guy who spends millions of his own money to spread lies about other Republicans. I just think that the party is more decent than that.
UPDATE: Quote of the day from Rudy Giulianis campaign:
"Mitt Romneys already changed his own position on illegal immigration, so it should come as no surprise that hes trying to change everybody elses position as well."
Again, if you're going to be so profligate with your oh-so-truthy claims, post a link.
I’m so thrilled to have met you, La Enchiladita.
I wasn’t aware that you have been assigned the position of posting police!
Well, let me explain... I had stepped away from the computer and I hadn’t gone through and read all of the posts.
And, even now, I’m not too inclined to read further or discuss the issue more.
You see, the Mittbots are tiring and I have better things to do with my time.
Good evening.
Interestingly, the "NOW Tied" comment was made by you, not in the headline. It was of course in the STORY, but you added it to the headline. And you posted the numbers, and highlighted in red the top two, indicating that you were claiming the top two were tied while the others were behind.
But by your "margin of error" argument the day before, the top 4 were "tied", so your "Now Tied" with the red highlighting, would, under your bizarre arguments of the day before, be a "lie".
As I said, I didn't think it was a lie, you obviously didn't think it was a lie because you wouldn't have posted it if you did, which shows that your complaints of the previous day had been hypocritical.
Now, did you want me to scan my Romney Christmas card?
Oh, sorry, typo. The top 5 were tied, not the top 4. In the margin of error, that is.
I don't need or deserve that.
I'm self motivated doing what I feel is best for me and my country is all.
After numerous threads as this, if it wasn't for my devotion to Free Republic and the "on demand" news available I would have maintained lurker status.
WHEW, the threads sure can get intense during election cycles!
In brackets, so everyone would know. It's also true, by the way.
And you posted the numbers, and highlighted in red the top two, indicating that you were claiming the top two were tied while the others were behind.
I was indicating my shock that Rasmussen reported numbers showing those two were tied. Sorry you failed to grasp.
As I said, I didn't think it was a lie, you obviously didn't think it was a lie because you wouldn't have posted it if you did, which shows that your complaints of the previous day had been hypocritical.
You've failed again. Get back on the short bus, Chester.
If you think I will take a seat and not put up a fight when I see my party on the edge of ruin, think again.
You may not need or deserve it, but I want to encourage everybody to take positive steps. The negativity here is oppresive (which is sometimes the goal, to try to force people to support a particular candidate by making people’s lives miserable until the give in.
Some people think that’s a good way to get support for a candidate.
Amen.
I trust the Riddler more than I trust the Joker.
You were doing what every poster does with polls, using the actual numbers.
You may have one or two friends here who will still pretend they agree with you on this point. I don’t care what candidate you support, your false attacks on another freeper for doing the same thing you did were offensive, and deserved an apology, not your lame attempts to justify your actions.
Your childish references to “the short bus” are offensive, and you should stop. I can’t imagine how making fun of people with disabilities makes you feel like more of a man.
We at FR hate all Republican candidates. Hate. Hate. Hate.
Hate.
All of ‘em — idiots.
It’s going to get interesting once we have our primaries over.
There’s nothing wrong with fighting for your party. Do it with the truth — the conservative movement has truth on it’s side, and doesn’t need to make things up to make it’s point.
We’re all going to support Fred Thompson, or else.
I like Thompson. I like Hunter. I suppose I could vote for the others over Hillary.
But the hate and vitriol coming from the Republican side is just embarrassing.
If Rudy is the nominee and suddenly FR gets behind him, I will leave the party and this great site.
Twist and turn, spin and spin. Don't forget to lay on the lies...oh, wait, you didn't forget.
