I knew he was a Democrat when I saw his party wasn't mentioned in the article.

Political party, that is. News about his partying ARE in the article.

Special prosecutor in Tiller abortion case fired (Newly elected attorney general just paying off 'political debts,' says sacked lawyer)

"..Morrison spokeswoman Ashley Anstaett also told a Wichita newspaper that Morrison's campaign received no contributions from Tiller or the political action committee he supports, called ProKanDo.

However, a group called Kansas for Consumer Privacy Protection was active in the campaign, and it held the same address as ProKanDo, according to the newspaper.

Also, Morrison during his campaign had told the Lawrence Journal-World that he thought state money was being used for "misplaced priorities" in an investigation of abortion business practices in the state and he would instead use that to start a domestic violence unit.

He also got a huge boost in his campaign when a non-profit organization that the newspaper linked to Tiller mailed hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of mailings critical of Kline. .."

I don’t live in Kansas. I’m just passing through this post, but when I did not see the word “Republican” in the first sentence I knew the whole story. Jayhawk GOPers, go get that seat!

This isn't Morrison's first time skirt chasing. There were others. IMO, for every one reported, probably twice the number unreported.

I was glad when he switched parties. The Dims can have him and deserve him. LOL.

I've heard there will be more in this case... more witness ... more evidence ?? Rumor?? Fact??

Wow, extra-marital affair? The guy should run for President. Clinton made it legit as part of that job.

The fact that she worked in his office (Johnson County DA) at the time of the affair is quite significant. Having relations with someone you supervise (extramarital or otherwise) results in firing by my company.

I would think that puts quite a bit of weight on the harrassment charge. Just about anything he said/did to her during or after the affair could be considered harrassment given his position over her (double entendre!).
