Which is exactly why I am opting out on the issue of supporting Giuliani, Romney or Huckibee. I’ll have no part of them. There isn’t a chance in hell I’ll endorse or vote for one of these.

time for a 3rd party—conservative party—we have been hijacked. the liberal press will unload on Jimmy Huckabee.
And i don’t really expect Huck to know the real 11th commandment:
—snip—
Reagan biographer and conservative strategist Craig Shirley e-mails in response to Rudy Giuliani’s invocation of the “11th Commandment” in a CNN television package.
Rudy Giuliani knows as much about the 11th Commandment as he does about conservatism, which is very little. The 11th Commandment was a term created by the Chairman of the California Republican Party, Gaylord Parkinson in 1966. Reagan adopted it to mean that one Republican did not attack another Republicans patriotism, fidelity or sobriety. Politicians like Giuliani hide behind it when criticized by another on issues, which Reagan did plenty against Ford in 1976 and George Bush in 1980.
Shirley is the author of Reagans Revolution and the forthcoming book Rendezvous with Destiny.” He is also the chairman of the board of the revised Citizens For The Republic, a Reaganite revival political group that’s already raised around $20M.

Was it Gilchrist that ran for Congress? If so, he may have been offered a cabinet position in the Huckananny’s administration as a kickback for the endorsement.

Simcox is the one who really started it all. Has he endorsed anyone? Maybe he should speak up now and counter the insanity of this endorsement. Huck will increase the flood of illegals into our dying Republic.

You are exactly right. Illegal immigration will be a prime factor in the election and the Dems need to run against someone who is a weak on the issue as they are in order to win.

None, because he won’t win the GOP nomination unless conservative voters have gone totally insane on a nation-wide scale. The Huckster will end up as a VP for Rudy or some other Northeastern RINO to help “balance” the ticket and draw in the gullible southern white religious right voters.

i think that a florida win is highly unlikely. I listed 7. That might be my 8th most likely to flip.
Of course, your mileage may vary.

The DEMs call Huckabee “The Glass Jaw” because they can’t wait to break it if he makes it to the general elections. I’m having to chew back my own bile when I say this, but I have to agree with them. He’s been on the wrong side of too many issues in the past.
To: untrained skeptic
Why not Fred Thompson? He’s not running away with the nomination but it’s still winnable for him with the right suppport.

This is from Fox News so it’s not a joke. I wonder what gives? I’m going to let Gilchrest know about the Huckster’s amnesty plans. Perhaps he’s been conned by the Huckster. IF not, it’s time for Gilchrest to leave the Minuteman project, because if he continues to support the Huckster, they’ll never see another penny of my money!!

If Huckabee is shrewed, he will repudiated Gilchrist’s bizarre endorsement as “mean-spirited” and out of the Republican mainstream. Remember how the Republicans in the 1960s had to repudiate the John Birch Society to be socially acceptable.
