"If what he says is true, national Democrats are more interested in defeating George W. Bush than protecting the United States from its enemies."
Heehee!! Yer' okay!
Just a word to the wise, I'm anticipating a pretty contentious campaign and election. Does everybody remember the Florida recount fiasco? That got pretty tense. Unless the margins are pretty wide in the 2008 election, we're going to see some "civil unrest." Just my assessment of the current political atmosphere in the nationand the world. All eyes are going to be on the U.S. ... and Free Republic.

"...That the totalitarian force pitted against freedom wears a religious makes this civil war among mankind all the more difficult to engage. Loving freedom as we do, it seems reprehensible to deliberate against a religion. But this is no ordinary religion as it demands absolute obedience of all to their religion at the cost of freedom itself." [FReeper Backtothestreets]

"...Does everybody remember the Florida recount fiasco? That got pretty tense..."We were on duty here in Florida then, Salem. We are legend now.
Florida stopped being a 'battleground' state after 2000, since the 'cheat-machines' were replaced by 2002. Once the dims lost the punch-cards, Florida turned out to be two thirds Republican.
We just do it now for the fun ... and the beer, of course ................................ FRegards

I've been thinking the same thing, Salem. Unless it is very clear that someone (Democrat) is winning (or wins) by a clear margin, I'm expecting troublemaking trash to stir up "civil unrest". If it is close or the RINO is clearly winning, I expect trouble. If the RAT is clearly winning....who knows.
