Tancredo For President (Joseph Farah Endorses Guy Who GOP Tells Us Can't Win Alert)
Worldnetdaily.com ^ | 12/14/2007 | Joseph Farah

Though I have formally endorsed no candidate, I made no secret of the fact that my favorites are Tancredo and Rep. Duncan Hunter – both, admittedly, long shots to get the Republican nomination.

Bu I feel compelled to offer some more encouragement to Tancredo for his decision to boycott the recent Spanish-language debate. And he was the only candidate to do so.

Tancredo got it right.

"If they can't understand the English language, then, of course, they shouldn't be citizens," Tancredo explained. "They shouldn't be voting. And we shouldn't be pandering to them."

That's what I like about Tancredo. Simple. Straightforward. To the point. He pulls no punches and he minces no words.

Tom Tancredo is right on all the major issues of the day, plus he has the added distinction of having led the fight in Washington for secure borders, a return to national sovereignty and against the kind of creeping internationalism that has characterized George W. Bush's failed presidency.

Quite honestly, no other candidate running for president brings all these qualities to the table with the added distinction of fully comprehending the external threats we face as a nation from Islamo-fascism.

Tom Tancredo didn't suck up to La Raza and the Open Borders. He and Duncan Hunter are the real deals. Joseph Farah just endorsed the longest of long shots: the guy the GOP tells us can't win! Tom Tancredo.

That’s really tilting at windmills, but at least it’s an intellectually honest endorsement.

“Tom Tancredo is right on all the major issues of the day...”

Yes he is. He’d make a great VP for Thompson.

why would Thompson ask him to be his VP? Tancredo may be right on the borders, etc but my Aunt Mildred has more support than he does.

Why did Bush 41 pick Dan Quayle? More goes into a VP selection that who got the next most support in the primaries.

I wouldn't expect Tom Tancredo to be part of an administration. Not in this universe anyway. He's far too polarizing.

How do you figure that? What would he bring to the campaign that makes him so special? Which region would he win, state that is going democratic, etc.?

19 days and Iowa begins the selection process. Time to start culling the field.......

Tancredo is probably the most consistently Conservative candidate. I’d hate to see Thompson pollute his campaign with any of the RINOs currently running.

If Thompson wins the nomination he may well go outside the candidate group to select a VP nominee. I can’t give you a name but he may do like President Bush did and find someone other than a loser from the campaign. Just a guess on my part.

I think you are right about that. He probably already has someone in mind.

I fully intend to vote for Tancredo in the Michigan Primary. He and Hunter are the only ones worthy of the nomination, but Tancredo is much more willing to say the tough stuff.

I was undecided until this afternoon. As of today, I am voting and supporting Tancredo. He's willing to tackle the core problems the US has -- illegal immigration and the UN -- and he's not afraid to say so. The cost of providing benefits for border jumpers is sucking the life out of our economy and our checkbooks, and the other candidates are pasting on band-aids rather than curing the disease.

Tancredo in 2008!!
