It would be far easier to read if it were properly formatted.

Clean this sucker up. As it stands reading this is an exercise in self-abuse.

Please don’t bother cleaning it up. People here can read and it’s a waste of your time. It takes one click to follow a link. Most of us can figure that out.

Dear Editor:

“Muslim Spain was a perfect example of a flourishing society in which Jews, Christians and Muslims lived in mutual respect and cooperation.”

Muslim Spain was Christian Spain for over 400 years before being conquered by Islamic Armies in the 8th Century. That is the way the Islamic Religion has been historically spread, though military invasion and occupation. Treatment of conquered people has the same goal, the minimizing of other religions and conversion of the indigenous people. Among other rules for non Muslims in Muslim Spain; Christians and Jews could not bear arms — Muslims could; Christians and Jews could not ride horses — Muslims could; Christians and Jews had to get permission to build or fix places or worship — Muslims did not; Christians and Jews had to pay certain taxes which Muslims did not; Christians could not proselytize — Muslims could; Christians and Jews had to bow to their Muslim masters; Christians and Jews had to live under the laws set forth in the Koran, not under either their own religious or secular law; Christian’s and Jew’s word in a court of law was not equal to a Muslim’s Word; Christian and Jewish families had to give up a son for conversion and military service in Muslim armies and the most beautiful and largest Christian Churches were converted to Mosques. And the list goes on.

Today, 1300 years later, a Christian or Jew living in an Islamic country will still have to live nearly under these very same laws. I can see why the head of the Philadelphia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations would want us all to do “our part” to create such a world.

Regards,

2banana

Another thing that the left and the jihadis have in common.
Besides:
wanting to destroy Christianity and Judaism
wanting to bring down Western Civilization and replace it with a dictatorship

Just by reading the title, I can see why the left is so enamored with radical islam.

Disarmament and dhimmitude are their goals as well for everyone who doesn’t participate in the religion of the left.

What the left doesn’t see, and the same way they don’t see it regarding their fondness for socialism and communism, is that they will be the prime dhimmis, not the “enlightened noble” leaders they imagine themselves to be.

What sort of audience is this garbage written? Do muslems think this contorted? The muslems want us disarmed so they can come in and take this country over.

Reading the history of Jews under dhimmitude who had to cower before the bullies, a modern reader might think, “How terrible. What kind of morally defective society would create such wretched, helpless victims? I'm glad that I don't live such a world.” But you do live in such a world, if you or your children are part of the educational system in most of the United States — a system where law-abiding adults are disarmed, and where people of all ages are trained that they must never fight back.

Nuff said. The Torah of Atzilut is to reign supreme.

I agree, I was tempted to move all the bookmarks to the bottom, but that’s how it is at the source.

So many good quotes in the article that need to be singled out. Suffice it to say that disarmament as understood by the Muzzies and libs not only renders those being governed defenseless, but it destroys their will to fight and leads to a sort of paralysis. I think it’s the same effect we get from being naked, our first response is shame and the desire to withdraw and cover ourselves. The laws of dhimmitude have had exactly the same effect on Jewish and Christian communties down through the centuries, where forced conversions to Islam and cemetaries are all that remain.

Barlow and Yeor sum up the result of disarmament very well:

In addition to the violence perpetrated against on the disarmed segments of the population, there is another harm inflicted by disarmament: the negative psychological effects, as detailed in Barlow’s and Yeor’s work on dhimmitude. In much of the Muslim world, disarmament created a condition of learned helplessness, which eventually led to the gradual elimination of many Christian and Jewish communities. The result would not have been surprising to America’s Founders. Joel Barlow, one of the leading intellectuals of the Early Republic, wrote that disarmament palsies the hand and brutalizes the mind: an habitual disuse of physical force totally destroys the moral; and men lose at once the power of protecting themselves . . . .

The Europeans are way ahead of us on this score, having voluntarily disarmed themselves long ago. This disarmament has had more profound effects than simply the loss of these weapons. Most Euros have become much more subservient to state, and willing to go along with any nearly anything proposed by the ruling elites. Once Hitler had disarmed the Germans, they were much more willing to go along with anything their leader and now protector implemented no matter how crazy.

Our founders had a pretty firm grasp on what was essential to the maintenance of a free republic. I pray we aren’t hoodwinked by these charlatans who would tell us otherwise.

we are approaching a pivotal time between two religious cutltures... one believing that caring for the weak, turning the other cheek, and acting meekly leads to a better life after this one... and a belief system for oppressing the weak and bullying them leading to approval from their god... not to mention sending those other infidels to their deaths without reprisal...

march on christian soldiers.

In view of history, it is incomprehensible to me why any Jew today isn’t armed to the teeth and ready to defend himself. And yet, some Jews are in the forefront of disarmament.

That’s probably more a rural/urban thing than religious. The areas with large Jewish populations are also anti-gun, in fact frequently liberal in general. They think like their neighbors.
