Des Moines Register Editor Carolyn Washburn takes a shot at Republicans with an obviously false statement in her piece summarizing the recent Iowa debates which she moderated:
The media is the publishing arm of the left. The left actively wants to eliminate White Christians from the world. That’s why the media is 100% complicit.
In the “Wichita Massacre” five whites, three women two men, were taken captive by two black burglars. These people were repeatedly raped also. What is interesting is why the black males seem to enjoy sodomizing white males as described in this incident with Christopher Newsom and Shannon Christian. Like many others in here, I find it repugnant that the MSM continues to try and cover up the amount of black on white crimes. In the last two weeks alone there have been two separate beatings of whites by blacks on the transit busses in Baltimore, Maryland. Why do whites tolerate this crap?

This is all out brutal torture, lying in wait, murder and all the rest of the book. I remember taking a "Cultural Awareness" Psychology course where the teacher attempted to show us there are merely cultural differences and not black, white, yellow red "racial" differences. It was a good class and of course politically correct but I was working with the worst of adolescents were deemed "criminally insane" instead of murderers or student sociopaths. As I am white/Jewish mix and most of the kids were either african American or hispanic I was generally called a white blankety blankety blank jew kike (insert favorite slur) and there wasn't much one could do to "educate" these youngsters.
That said, there were a LOT of gang related black( *ahem*) cultural problems with beat downs and "blanket parties" which were basically a few dark skinned kids taking a lighter in color skinned person and attempting to kill them until a staff member would have to break it up. Granted, from the perspective of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson( I save Reverand for God only) I suppose you'd consider me rascist due to the fact that there would be consequences for such blanket parties which were shown to be only used against the culturally African American predators on the fewer and lesser attacks from culturally lighter skinned European ( ad infintum) kids mainly beacuse there just weren't enough to form a gang to "beat down" the oppressors.
I was fotrunate to escape one such attack( a *ahem* race riot, or cultural difference is perspective?) and it took a heck of a long time to gain my pension. I did attempt to return( staff only had a spot for me on the same unit and refused my memos to be transferred) the paper work after returning to work( I happened to copy albiet illegal) when two of the kind hearted gang leaders threatened to," hunt my white *ss down..." kill me and such. Oh they tried A LOT and the administration did their best to bury it or use some sort of tranference to suggest I was the one with the "race" problem.
Enough of my Shabbas rhetoric but sometimes, no matter how you 'spin" the story, even reproting in as non-racial, culturally diverse politically correct manner as possible someone will consider something written or said as rascist. I see more escalation of religious hatreds, "racial" hate crimes and such no days than ever before and ...just to go out on a limb here, I bet if these lovely fine upstanding young men and woman were interviewed I'm just certain there was a racially motivating trigger these "lighter skinned" individuals emitted thus provoking the well deserved( cynicism/severe sarcasm) beat down and murder they deserved. maybe with some Cultural Awareness classes and some enlightment at a "Correctional Facility" where they will learn improved gladiator ways to communicate their cultural diffences they'll be out of the slammer in no time...or maybe they can write a book about how they were brutalized and psychologically broken which induced a psychotic break and tranferred to a lesser than maximum security environment to "heal" their internal wounds after suffering depravity over hundreds of years of slavery...

No, it's not a conspiracy. It's a herding instinct. It's groupthink by journalists who nearly all subscribe to the same mythological worldview. And this worldview leads to people getting killed because it constantly whips up hatred in the black community while making whites feel guilty or bigoted for even practicing self-defense or asking for justice.
The only people who want to rub in the nation’s face are people who want blacks to look bad.

snopes has become the equivilent of wikipedia to me. On obscure or arcane urban legands they are ok but on anything with political or PC overtones they are not to be trusted.

Exactly! But you notice that we’re still talking about that case where whites dragged the black guy to his death many years later. We remember it because it was a major national news story, and was covered for over a year. It even was brought up in the presidential debates in 2000.

When innocent people are murdered in a most brutal and unusual fashion it is a story. ....but to the MSM it's only a story if the perps and victims fit in to their PC template and advance their PC agenda. This story didn't, obviously. ...which is the point of the post.

OK,good point.I was around in the Sixties and I do agree that race relations are better now than then.I get this distinct feeling sometimes,however,there there is a cauldron of hate bubbling beneath the surface ready to explode anytime.
I personally am not too keen on the whole”hate crime”idea in the first place.Make penalties stiffer for all felonies and the hate”enhancements”in the sentences will be moot.
