They are just minimum-wage callers reading from a script; they probably wouldn’t know a Repubican if he came up to them. I suspect that these coming primaries will also reveal forevermore how nutty are the Republican sheeple.

We certainly agree on that.

And the sheeple in the ranks are nowhere as nutty as the completely out of touch K street, ivory tower elites who make up the leadership of the GOP today.
They still do not understand 06.

They know that something happened, but they cannot find a way to repackage their message so as to exclude another total disaster, and they are unwilling or unable to really fundamentally change, so they are like a deer caught in the headlights; knowing something awful is rushing toward them, but unable to move, or to do anything about it.
