Must be something in the water there. I grew up 40 miles from Hope and there’s certainly nothing remarkable about the place. In fact it’s a pretty down at the heels typical rural town.

Yet Hope is the birthplace of a disproportionate share of national political figures: Bill Clinton, the 42nd president of the United States, and Mike Huckabee, the current surging Republican candidate.
