We've been suckered again by the US. So far the Bali deal is worse than Kyoto .. (Euro-MoonBats)

Simple solution for the Euro-Weenies:
Have the climate talks without the United States present. Agree to anything you want. Feel free to wreck your own economies. Just don't ask us to join your suicide pact.

Of course this is self-evident, but since the whole object of the exercise is to destroy The U.S., its economy and world-wide influence, what's the point?

Even with the addition of it's other natural enemies (Russia, China, islam), they are going nowhere fast in their goal of bankrupting the U.S. economy, if the US can't be "cowed" into playing the doctored poker game.

Wasn’t it the Guardian which encouraged its readers to write to Ohio voters in 2004 urging them to vote for Kerry?

They picked out Clark County Ohio to try to get the voters to vote for Kerry. It went from a Gore win by 324 votes in 2000 (with an additional 1347 for Nader that year) to a 1620 vote win by President Bush in 2004. It was the only Ohio county which switched from Dem to Republican between 2000 and 2004. Maybe they could help out that much in 2008.

If Moonbat and the Guardian hate the Bali deal that much; it can’t be all bad.

Nothing is stopping the EUoweenies from parking their cars, turning off the lights and heat and waiting for it to cool down. They should lead and show us the way.

They don’t want to lead.
They want to put their hands in our pockets.

Its climate negotiators were led by Albert Arnold Gore.

Heretic! Gore is leading us to environmental salvation!

This man will be taken out and shot, in an environmentally-friendly fashion.

Whoever thought the US would handcuff its economy in Bali were delusional. The entire global warming scam is just make work for bureaucrats and activists who would be out of work if it was solved - and if it was real, nothing they could do would affect it. The Europeans are angry at America because its the leading nation of the world. This talk of environmental conciousness is so much BS flimflammery.

The European Union had asked for greenhouse gas cuts of 15% by 2010.

How do they expect that to happen? The only workable solution would involve gas chambers and mass graves.

Does Zyklon B count as a greehouse gas?

I'm really proud we're not falling into their trap. I'd consider going along if every one else agreed to be bound by the same rules. Of course, that will never happen.

>>>Top with the typical lib feeling of superiority and you have the relentless non-accomplishment, bad logic, and completely useless meanderings of the Guardian. <<<

Nice turn of phrase!! Worth repeating.

I'd only add "usless meanderings of the Guardian, and the Democrat Party in The U.S.."

There’s a simpler solution: make him pay for his airplane tickets out of his own pocket. He’d never go overseas again.

China, India, Russia would not agree to targets. Not just the US, but this kook pins the blame on the US.

Thank God for the alternative media! Gutless Maxists like this dingdong get no traction.

He’d never go overseas again.

Unacceptable. How about we ship him to the next conference in Zimbabwe and leave him there? The diet will do him some good.

BTW, why are these conferences always at plush resorts? It reminds me of the scientist who spoke at the Bali conference, saying something like "I've never been to a conference as nice as this one, but then I've only been to scientific conferences."

P.J. O'Rourke had a good time talking about all the trash left over from the Rio environmental conference. :)

This is the 21st Century. We went to the Moon in the 20th Century. There is a Space Station manned by International staff circling the Globe. The terrible diseases once devastating to mankind have been irradicated.

We aren’t living in a World of Witches, crushed lizards tails and eye of nute today, yet lead by the Euro’s, and their precious UN we are under assault to believe Chicken Little’s “Sky Is Falling” crap. Like herd animals the Leftists flow our course through life without a whimper.

I don’t comprehend how mankind at this time in history can be herded by Leftist fairytales such as AGW apparently with such ease.

Close the book, put it down to gather dust and forget the fantasies invoked by the read, and get the Hell out of the UN.

Can someone explain this? In the middle of the conference, there was triumphant reportage that Bush had caved on climate change and agreed to make Warmism a special exemption from the establishment clause. But as the conference closed, the same people were whining about not getting anything from the US. Which way was it?

I just looked it up, and it turns out that cyanide is normally created using methane (methane + ammonia + oxygen = cyanide + water). Thus it is an environmentally friendly greenhouse gas reducer!

I know, don't give them any ideas.
