The cleaning of bricks, heavy duty housekeeping, or a variety of other things can cause an explosion or vilent reaction, even (rarely) in the home.

Prayers for the injured and afflicted and that this was the result of an unintentional mixing of chemicals....

It’s not terrorism. There, no need to pay a gubermint functionary to issue that knee-jerk statement.

Ummm H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide and H3O+ is an acid.

Does anyone know what floors Fox News are located on? And how close Shep was to the explosion? (He’s probably in a tizzy right now.)

Hydrogen Peroxide is H2 O2 not H3O

Could be a disgruntled Amish activist who clip-clopped his buggy into Manhattan under cover of darkness and disquised his horse and buggy as Central Park taxis.

Perhaps I shouldn't make a joke, but I've found that a well-placed line makes a lot of difference in difficult circumstances. My Amish friends have a sense of humor, too....

Phosphoric acid is commonly used to demineralize evaporative coolers and humidifiers.

Oxygen and chlorine based bleaches are often used to disinfect systems.

I’m guessing inadequate rinse and purge between cleaning and disinfecting.

The poor guy was probably freezing his butt off and decided to rush it a bit.

On some shows you can see people outside walking on the street, so I know they must occupy lower floors, but not sure about the one’s higher up.

The valence of oxygen is two, so it could not have three hydrogen molecules bound to it...
