the press helps the people they want to run for the presidency
You can't blame Hunter's failure to rise on the press.

No one needs the press to ignite a groundswell.

And once the groundswell begins, the press is powerless to stop it. They instantly become unwilling participants.

No, the reason for the lack of a Duncan Hunter groundswell is...

Actually, I don't know the reason.

But I know it's not the press. Blaming the press is crybaby stamping of feet.

It's the candidate. Something about this candidate is just not catching fire, except for here in FR, in the hearts of a few.

It’s the “I won’t vote for him because he can’t win because I won’t vote for him” syndrome.

The American people are so used to the media selecting the frontrunners that they’ve quit thinking outside the box.

“You can’t blame Hunter’s failure to rise on the press.”

Sure you can. When the MSM shows their news of the debates, etc. , you can’t find Hunter in the photos even when you’re looking for him! He is the best kept secret of the MSM. They don’t want the public knowing there is a candidate who opposes lop sided trade with China and actually has done something to secure the borders. But Huckabee...he’s ALL over the MSM.
