The Amalekstinian heathen did it again....ping! Recall how they desecrated Joseph’s tomb a few years ago. These buzzards are beyond low, beyond common, beyond.....they are just plain damn ugly, nasty, ornery, and evil.

oh..didnt read into it that far..but same opinion applies.
To: Dr. Sivana
I thought the exact same thing.
Joshua was not a "prime minister" - he was a divinely appointed general/leader.

(Why is it that so many self-proclaimed "Constitutionalists" know so little about the Constitution?)
To: abstracTT
I never liked “AD”, I prefer “the year of our Lord” as is used in our Constitution.

Most Israelis are secularists, non-believers. I've never seen any research or polling that would support that.

...so why should we use that abbreviation any more than youd use the Islamic calendar for dates? "What's in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." - Shakespeare
You change what "BC" stands for but you can't change what it means. It's a meaningless protest to use Christ as the hinge of history around which the world's predominant calendar swings... and ignore Christ Himself. All you do with this is give the secularists another idea of how to push our society more to their liking... and I promise you it won't be to yours.

I had to do a double check on the date to make sure I wasn’t missing something - like some P.M. that died in 1953! And wasn’t Joshua a marching band leader?

We don’t. BCE is understood to mean “before the common era” and CE means Common Era. Anno Domini isn’t a comfortable phrase for those of us who don’t recognize Jesus as Dominus (or the Son of Dominus), and of course we’re equally uncomfortable with Before Christ inasmuch as the latter word means Messiah in Greek.

Every time I see that picture, I always wonder if the arabs realize they are worshipping a giant vagina.
To: massgopguy; newzjunkey
Yes, they are. But, common to what? I know, I'm just funnin' with NJ. Notice the sarc tag on my #10....
To: SJackson
I was basing that on what friends have told me . . . googled and saw that around 49% go to synagogue, 51% do not.
