For this period of Israelite history there are no firm dates, just educated guesses...and anyway dates BCE or BC are counted downwards. Joshua himself was Israelite but not Jewish--he was of the tribe of Ephraim, descended from Joseph, not of the tribe of Judah.
Caleb is called a Kenezite (Joshua 14.6)--I think that would make him a descendant of Kenaz, a grandson of Esau (cf. Genesis 36.11), rather than a descendant of Jacob, although he is treated as a member of the tribe of Judah in Numbers 13.6.

I’m sure the Jewish Democrats in the MSM will somehow find a rationalization for this behavior.
Like the bigoted, hate-filled clown in the WashPo we threaded earlier today.

I wonder, what event happened to mark the start of the "common era" and the end of the era "before the common era"? LOL

What outrages you more, the use of “CE” and “BCE” by Jews and secularists, or the destruction of historical and religious monuments by Mohammedans?

One could go on and on about the reaction the bloody arabs would give had it been one of their holy sites, but why bother.

Islam desecrates everything.
Christians and Jews welcome differing views and religions.

I was basing that on what friends have told me . . . googled and saw that around 49% go to synagogue, 51% do not. That would be considerable lower than numbers I've seen which are usually up in the 70% range. Of course it would depend on whether they're querying on weekly or occasional attendance and whether they're questioning only Jews. 49% weekly attendance would be higher than Church/Synagogue attendance in most polls.

“Prime Minister”? WTHeck? He was successor to Moses. Does that make Moses the first “Prime Minister”. I hate the connotation that they were just crass political leaders like “Prime Minister” Olmerta.

We recognize the authority of the Almighty, but we dont recognize the authority of Christ - BC stands for Before Christ, so why should we use that abbreviation any more than youd use the Islamic calendar for dates? I've always thought that, since you use the Christian dates, it would be less disrespectful to go ahead and use the Christian designations BC and AD as well. Otherwise, just use the Jewish dates. To use the Christian date and a neuter designation seems unnecessarily dismissive. But, hey, this Christian's feelings aren't hurt. Besides, there's no way we've been whacked as a group like the Jews have over time (notwithstanding it's been open-season on us of late).

By the mullahs, weren’t the Jews of the Old Testament actually muslims? Otherwise, where can they track their pre-muhamadan islam from? They desecrate their “own” history as well?

Kidding, lol!
