I think a full rational assessment of Mitt vs. Huck needs to be performed.

Oh, I can give you that in one sentence. The difference between the two of them is that Huckster is the one that has a Southern accent.
Say Hunter drops out and endorses Thompson. And then later on, Thompson bows out and endorses someone else. Who could that be?
I think it would be great fun to stick it to the northeastern RINOs and the mainstream media.

Problem is, Huckster IS the candidate of the media. They’re holding all their attacks in reserve until after they get him the nomination, and then it will be the MOAB’s against him.
Picture it: It’s 2008 and Jimmy Carter is back, but he’s from Slick Willie’s hometown, and now he’s a RINO ! Yup, it will shrivel up the Conservative turnout for the general election more than George Costanza’s genitals in an ice-cold Long Island outdoor pool.
I'd prefer a Governor more conservative than Arnold. However, his Democratic opponent would have far worse than he is IMO.

I think the Huckster is solidly pro-life and firmly against gay marriage.
Mitt is buying his endorsements. Evangelical Christians will have a hard time supporting him.

Fact: Hunter can’t win, at all. I was for Hunter initially, but not now as he will not be our candidate, period. Romney is very viable, Hunter is not. Tancredo is backing a viable candidate who can win.
Fact: Thompson does not appear to be particularly viable either, unless he somehow miraculously picks up steam around the Feb. 5th primaries. And Romney has a better track record on immigration than Thompson does.

Tancredo is throwing his weight in a direction it will count, namely in hopes of helping Romney defeat the Huckster in Iowa so he can’t gain steam. Tancredo has figured out who the real disaster as a candidate would be. And that is Huckleberry. Tancredo is a wise man. He sees the race in Iowa is a two man one, between Romney and the Huckster. Tancredo can’t stand the Huckster. I share his assessment.

A Socialist Democrat would've been stopped by the Republicans working en bloc to stop him. How is a Socialist Republican going to be stopped ? You see, this is what you guys don't get, leftist RINOs accomplish several things, they divide our party, they help the liberals by enacting their agenda, and their unpopularity harms our party and the Democrats win sweeping victories as a result. Because there's NO difference, except for one. We'll still have a party if a Socialist rodent wins. There won't be a party left if a Socialist RINO wins. We have Fred Thompson, and we can hold our heads high and go into this general election with a Conservative choice, not a Socialist sell-out. I know Hunter can't win, that's not the issue. The issue here is that Tancredo knifed his colleague Duncan Hunter in the back, and knifed those people that believed in his cause to endorse a lying, flipflopping, opportunistic liberal termite Joe Isuzu Romney.
