St. Charles attorney James L. Briscoe said on the "Today" show Tuesday what others following the Megan Meier case have said for weeks: Curt and Lori Drew might have to move from Dardenne Prairie.
"Living in the neighborhood may be impossible in the future," Briscoe told Matt Lauer.
Briscoe's appearance marked the first time anyone has spoken publicly on behalf of the Drews since Lori Drew talked to the Journal for a Nov. 11 story.Briscoe covered much of the same information presented by Jack Banas, the St. Charles County prosecuting attorney, in a Monday news conference. Banas announced no criminal charges would be filed in connection with Megan's suicide.
On Tuesday, a man identifying himself as Lori Drew's father answered the door at the Drew home in the Waterford Crossing subdivision.
"The Banas report is fair and correct on all the major points," he said, declining to give his name.
On "Today," Briscoe told Lauer about the harassment directed at the Drews.
"Mrs. Drew has had to close her advertising business because people have been attacking her advertisers, and they want nothing to do (with that)," Briscoe said. "They don't want the bad publicity."

Incidentally, notice how this woman’s story keeps changing.
The Drews represent an aspect of human evil that is far too common today. They deserve nothing but shame and scorn for what they did.

Nothing works like a good old fashioned shaming. I hope they get a taste of their own medicine. Peer pressure isn’t enjoyable. Of course, they are adults, not an insecure teenage girl.
