And I complained about people acting like the MSM, well hoisted by my own petard.
Hmmm, I guess guns do stuff of their own accord after all. The liberals were right all along, though they’d enver admit one of them would do something good. Next you’ll hear about an SUV sending oil and parts to less fortunate compacts in the Sudan or something!
My wife has a one 9mm weapon I really don’t like. There’s no sort of safety on it, and you can chamber a round and the pin from the hammer sits on the round. It could go off with a sharp blow to the hammer (as in, if you dropped it). She carries it without chambering a round. She practices drawing it and chambering a round in one motion, unloaded at home obviously and loaded on the range. I don’t think if I were a bad guy and knew her, that I’d try her....
On the other hand, I PERSONALLY wouldn’t carry that weapon either. I have to say it’s the only gun that ‘ever scared me’ lol — even over those that I’ve had pointed at me.
When those stories appear in LOCAL Papers (as this one apparently does) there isn’t a REASON to point the place out on a map, since the folks that get the paper locally know where they are (usually). :)
The gun’s safety is your friend.
Damn! Shot my purse! Hate when that happens!
Phrase from Seinfeld, pertains to ones (cough) 'private parts'
*Sigh.* How well I remember those high school days, when boys tried to get in my pants.
like we say, it’s not the guns but the idiot humans that mishandle them
....lucky consequence of poor firearm safety.
The poster can easily provide the necessary and missing details in post #1.
I know how to fill in the blanks. My point, in the interest of communicating, I shouldn’t have to.
I frequently have to remember to fill in the blanks myself.
The topics checked includes Pennsylvania, which might lead you to deduce that it is York, PA.
Not a Harley guy?
It could have been a revolver.

Not offhand..Standard Arms. That;s all I remember offhand. I did look at it the other day, there isn’t even an actual hammer on it.
