States like California will hold someone for 72 hours for most anything 5150 Mental Health hold, and if you challenge your detention they will try to commit you. I have first hand experience. Some illegal gang members were making threats while i was in my yard and when they approached I showed them the 45 in my waist band. I was placed on a mental health hold they tried to commit me, but I was still convicted of Exbiting a deadly weapon and lost my gun rights for 10 years for the misdemeanor. I lost them for 5 years just for the hold. This law is crap and no one will get relief and the abuses will continue. I no longer live in Cali I hated the place from day one, but I am still banned. This law and the rest are crap and need to go.

This passes and it won't be long before even voluntarily diagnosed conditions such as adult ADD, depression, and hell even insomnia will be enough to keep someone from having a gun.

Voluntarily and on your own accord go to a shrink and get your gun rights taken away.
