“Bush isn’t going to be president much longer. Huckabee might be soon. Try not to completely destroy our candidates before they even go up against the Dems.

All our candidates need to pick up on Reagan’s 11th commandment.

We here in the FR need to do the same. If we have disagreements, be respectful and argue about them. All I read when Huckabee comes up is trash-talk.

I haven’t even made my mind up on anyone yet, but one thing is for sure - you guys haven’t talked me out of Huckabee yet and never will using these tactics.”

Huck drew first blood.

He has a simple BA in religion. Not one single graduate degree. So I’m not very hard pressed to say he’s NOT an intellectual.

In the past he has claimed that he received an MA from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1980.

That was the basis for his claiming in the debate that he had a theology degree.

He has since been forced to admit that he dropped out of the masters program about halfway through.

This is politics folks. Since all canidates are by default politicians, Huckabee is a formidable one. This all about projecting a clear position of change from those that will defend the DC elite.

Then can you explain why Rice never has a reply for the Democrat attacks?

It sure would be nice to have some ammunition to defend the Bush Administration at the water cooler. Rice apparently only goes after Republicans.

Huckabee is a Democrat masquerading as a Republican. Rice is a perceptive woman. She’s calling the Huckster out.

Yeah, but she’s still an idiot for her Palestinian position.

It’s not up to a non-elected official to do that. Her State Dept. is leaking and changing policy over the President’s head. She should tend to her job.

Huckabee's Rollins Trashes Rush Instead of Debating Conservatism

You say all candidates should run on Reagan’s 11th commandment. I was just push polled by Huckabee’s hired guns. In the poll they slammed all the other Republican candidates and lied about their positions. I was appalled and sickened by the tactic. I though Huckabee was a better man then that. The firm was Moore & Lee LLP 703-263-0770 out of DC. Quite the outsider.

The State Department is full of socialist, and godless U.N. lovers, and was the primary cause of the Iraq mess early on. The problem is Huck should have specifically attacked them, not a generalized attack on the Administration.

So, I guess the Hulkster is going to go it the Marxist way and ask the UN to do it all for us. He will give our Republic as fast as Hillary.

Jimmy laid down the same sounding outsider smack when he popped up like some groundhog on the political scene and because the darling of soldiers, evangelicals and you know the rest. I hope this doesn’t turn out to be Groundhog Day.

before you cream me what I said was in regard to his coming on to the scene and getting the nomination and winning the election virtually out of nowhere. And he fooled a lot of soldiers and sailors into voting for him with his Zumwalt book about the Navy. He lusted in his heart. He had the irresistable combo going. What a mistake.

The ‘Day of the Lord’ (YHVH) is a major topic in the Bible. It is the MAJOR subject of the book of Isaiah. The book of Joel mentions the “Day of the Lord” in Joel 1:15, Joel 2:1. The book of Zephaniah mentions the “Day of the Lord” in Zephaniah 1:14-15. The book of Zechariah mentions the “Day of the Lord” in Zechariah 14:1. The book of Obadiah mentions the “Day of the Lord” in Obadiah 1:15.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE MAJOR EVENTS OF THE DAY OF THE LORD?

#1) In the day of the Lord (Zeph 1:14-15), Gaza will be forsaken

#2) In the day of the Lord (Joel 2:1), the land of Israel will be divided by the nations (Joel 3:2)
#3) In the day of the Lord (Zech 14:2), Jerusalem will be divided.

The “enemy” will say that the “mountains of Israel” (West Bank) belongs to them (Ezekiel 36:1-2).

Has anyone noticed that the nations of the world met at Annapolis to divide the land of Israel (Joel 3:2) and the city of Jerusalem (Zech 14:2) ? Does anyone realize that the creation of a PLO state is a “day of the Lord” (tribulation event) ? Does anyone realize that their has been a verbal pledge to create a PLO state by the end of 2008?

#4) In the day of the Lord (Is 13:6), Babylon is destroyed through a confrontation with the Medes (Iran) (Is 13:17).

Has anyone noticed that the Bush administration has suggested the possibility of going to war with Iran over its nuclear development program?

Babylon is destroyed through a confrontation with the Medes (Iran) in the time known as the ‘vengeance of YHVH’ (Jer 51:11) over the ‘controversy of Zion’ (Is 34:8)

#5) In the day of the Lord (Joel 2:1), Jews will be removed from their homes (Joel 3:6)

#6) In the day of the Lord (Zech 14:1), the nations will be judged for dividing Jerusalem (Zech 14:3) and the judgment will be nuclear (Zech 14:12)

Does anyone understand that when the Bush Administration and the USA had pledged to create a PLO state (and thus divide the land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem) that the judgment for doing so is nuclear destruction (Zechariah 14:12).

Does anyone understand that the fate of the USA is SEALED with the pledge to create a PLO state and that fate for the USA is nuclear destruction (Zech 14:12) ?

THE DAY OF THE LORD (YHVH) IS AT HAND

From all these things, you may conclude what you want. However, I am concluding that the “Day of the Lord” is at hand.

I am personally preparing for the distinct possibility that the Bush administration will be successful and force Israel to create a PLO state by the end of 2008.

For those who haven’t heard the recent news, President Bush has announced that he will make his first ever trip to Israel on January 10.

When a USA president needs negoations to be done, he sends his political diplomats (Condolezza Rice). When understandings are reached, the president calls for high-level meetings and summits (Annapolis). The Bush administration has stated that the President’s trip to Israel will be “substantive”. What does this mean? Only time will tell. Do I believe that this visit will result in the signing of a peace agreement? I don’t. Will it lay further groundwork for an eventual peace agreement? I believe so. Is it possible that a peace agreement will be signed in 2008? Based upon the reality of USA politics, I believe that there is a real possibility of a peace agreement to create a PLO during 2008.

Personally, I don’t think she should be inserting herself into an ongoing presidential primary, I don’t care what Huckabee said. It’s not like she doesn’t have her hands full already.

That said...I am thoroughly DISGUSTED by the way Huckabee has been treated by nearly every Republican I used to respect.

Back in September, Huckabee's campaign manager said that Democrat and Clinton stooge Gov. Richardson of New Mexico was more qualified to be president than Fred Thompson.

The Huckster gets the rhetoric he deserves.

Huckabee vs. Rice. It that like trying to choose between Alien vs Predator, or Hitler vs. Stalin? I hate them both, so how can I choose?

If the candidate is an articulate governor from Arkansas, recently endorsed by the NEA and displaying a passion for pardoning criminals I would be very skeptical of his conservative claims.

You’ve got to be kidding. The Huckster would never be elected. I don’t care who you are, the electorate does not elect someone who thinks (or has opened his big mouth to the effect at any time in the past) that ‘women should submit to their husbands’. It won’t happen. Hell I’d vote for a Democrat first before I’d vote for that populist.
