Another suspect arrested in sex abuse case(Dodge City Teacher sex case expands)

A Nebraska man has been arrested in connection with charges against a Dodge City second-grade teacher. Zachary Noble, a 28-year-old resident of Falls City, Neb., was arrested Tuesday in relation to similar charges levied against Sacred Heart Cathedral School teacher Tabitha Adams.

Noble, an ex-husband of another former Sacred Heart teacher, was charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child, a class one felony. Adams, 35, was charged with sexual exploitation of a child, aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Noble's ex-wife, who taught at the private Catholic school in 2006, is not suspected of any involvement.

The alleged victim was an 8-year-old student at Sacred Heart, according to court documents. The student was not one of Adams', and officials believe the incident took place off school property.

ADAMS Police arrested Adams on Tuesday after digital pictures of two adults engaging in sexual activities with a child were brought to the Dodge City Police Department last Friday. Her work computer was seized during the investigation.

Adams' and Noble's bonds were both set at $500,000.

Richardson County, Neb., Deputy Attorney Robert Meyer confirmed the two cases were connected, but he declined to say what the relationship between Noble and Adams may have been.

Falls City Assistant Police Chief Duane Armbruster said his department received a call from the Dodge City Police Department over the weekend saying Noble was involved in alleged abuses against the child.

Falls City police have reason to believe that the photos that were brought to the Dodge City police were taken inside Noble's home.

Following an investigation, Noble was arrested Tuesday night in Falls City, a town of about 4,000 people 351 miles northeast of Dodge City. He was arraigned on Wednesday and charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child.

Meyer said it was unclear if the two cases would be tried together or separately. If they are tried together, either Noble would have to be charged in Ford County or Adams would have to be charged in Richardson County.

"At this point, we don't know if that's going to happen," Meyer said.

Attempts to reach Ford County District Attorney John Sauer for comment Friday were unsuccessful.

Adams, who had taught at Sacred Heart the past three years, was suspended from her job shortly after her arrest.

Noble is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Jan. 14 in Richardson County Court. Adams is tentatively scheduled for her preliminary hearing Thursday, Dec. 27, in Ford County District Court.

The investigation into the teacher arrested expands in Dodge City, KS. Now we find out its a 8 year child involved and pictures taken. Me thinks we havent seen the end of this investigation. I say hang 'em high at the hangin' tree at Boothill Cemetary which hasn't been used since the heyday of the cattledrives.

You’re too kind.

I would rather see a bit more suffering.

A hundred pound test fishing line attached to an eighty pound weight attached to the correct point before the slow haul up should do the trick.

I used to think maybe it was just a cult of pervert priests that was at the root of this epidemic of child abuse. With stories like this I begin to wonder whether it has to do with some kind of systemic problem with the catholic organization.

Statistically, there is no higher rate in Catholic organizations than in other religious organizations, or secular organizations.

Are you aware that you could be indicted for a hate crime in 32 states for that picture?

Actually, a hanging is a highly flexible exit strategy.

Properly done, it is quick and painless.

Improperly done, such as from the back of a horse, it can take awhile.

Either way, the result is dramatic and makes a great object lesson.

Are these statistics from the Catholic League 2004 report?

Just part of the Gay Rights movement and agenda. America makes Sodom look like a Sunday School Picnic and it is starting to show up everywhere. No doubt these people are entwined and are promoting their agenda full force.

I don’t think it has anything particular to do with Catholicism - I was raised in Catholic schools and institutions and still think them wonderful, though long not a Catholic.

It has to do with the disolution of the extended family, not living in a community that knows you, a society that continually says unbridled sex and self-gratification is OK.

The same societal permissiveness about homosexuality opens the doors for growth there. Man, in his uncontrolled state will have sex with a monkey if it pleases him.

I would say go for it if it wasnt for the fact that Arizona falls under the 9th circuit, guaranteeing me that any appeal that goes to them will be denied.
