I think he'll be harder to beat than Hillary. He doesn't have a history, he avoids taking a stand and he runs on "feel-good" platitudes (e.g., hope, change, etc.).

Republicans would elect a man regardless of race or persuasion if they met the proper party ideals. Yet I find myself doubting, in the extreme, that the demoKKKrats would ever elect a black man, even an unadmitted mulatto.

“Unadmitted mulatto?”
I guess you haven’t read the number one best seller that Obama wrote about his Kenya-Kansas mixed racial heritage: “Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance.”
I won’t be voting for him but I think most people who follow politics at all know that he’s half black and half white. Barry Hussein wears that fact on his sleeve.

The evil that is Obama surges ahead, my worst nightmare.

Me too. I just can’t understand why FREEPERS don’t want Hillary to win the nomination. I would suspect that some hope that Obama wins. It just does not make sense. Obama must NOT win the nomination or it might be another Democrat in office. People just love the feel good smooth talkers for some reason.

It maybe that the Freepers underestimate Obama’s attraction and are more fearful of Hillary in the knowledge that she can and will pull the Left and more importantly the Independents who simply want change. Obama’s danger is that he might energize the 20 something vote; he’s gaining within the black community over Hillary; he’ll easily pull the Hispanics, (I see them as largely a lost cause to the Repubs), and if he remains “measured” and tempered, he might just pull that magic percentage of Independents. If you look at his record, he’s dangerous for another reason, he pulls well from the white female population. If this guy gets momentum out of Iowa and N.H., he’ll pull S.C. because of the blacks and he’s out the gate with a big lead. If he wins the nomination we’ve got the third world prospect of the Dems “packing” the polls with illegals, felons, etc. along with their immediately screaming the election is unfair all the while throwing out absentee and overseas ballots; it’ll be 2000 all over again except for the blacks and hispanics this time it’ll be PERSONAL!
