You got food? All I got was 2 bags of peanuts and a whole can of Coke. And I had to beg for the double helping.
No...I think you’re right...no food on Delta. (Pathetic that, I was on the planes for close 12 hours...a thing of crackers. I brought on a sandwich, otherwise, I’d have starved.)
I was thinking of the time before that, on American. They served what they called food. I about got sick once I landed. It was the most g-awful crap I ever had.
The myth of the exploding pressurized a/c is everywhere.
Aircraft as so leaky that when sitting on the ramp (unpressurized) rain often leaks in.
Oh sure, it was substandard and bland and lukewarm. You just can't get a decent meal for $900 (round-trip) these days;) Eat when you get there.
It’s absolutely ridiculous any longer the atrocious service, and especially for the amount we now pay for flights and the inconveniences. I would never have imagined a cross-country flight there would be ABSOLUTELY no food served.
Disgusting.
Maybe they should offer an option for a decent meal for an extra $10. I can’t imagine it costs them any more than that. They have flight “gourmet” companies who can pack bulk meals for them. A couple of times, there was an option to pick up a cold “sack lunch” when boarding the plane; it was basically a dry sandwich, a tube of mayo and chips. Surely the air industry can do better than that? Maybe if passengers looked forward to an extraordinary dining experience, they would be more tolerant to the crap they put us through. Nah, maybe not. Eat when you get there.
Eat before you leave, too. And pack lots of goodies. That’s what I normally do (the one time I almost became quite ill from their “food” I wasn’t able to get my food stock). I just cannot tell you how bad it tasted and smelled. They also served some kind of foul humus. And because I was absolutely starved by this point, I had no choice but to eat it. Egads. Learned my lesson....NEVER leave home without food if you’re going on a plane any longer. And to think, my grandmother, years ago, used to rave about the American Airlines food. Now, not only is their service rotten, but so is their food, if they even go beyond throwing you more than a child-sized bag of dried peanuts.
I would have no clue. Please explain.
You’re probably correct. I thought you were hinting that you were IDF security.
