Or more literally, one of the 2 most destructive wars ever was in part ignited in what today is serbia.

Serbia has Russia...maybe. And yes, Russia is powerful, but I don’t think Russia wants to go to war over Kosovo. And if they do, well, let them. Let them lose tens of thousands or even millions to accomplish...what? Keeping Kosovo? Yeah, that’s worth a really big, long war with a protracted guerilla campaign afterward! By the end of that war, Serbia might not even exist either. No Kosovo. No Serbia. More room for everybody else?
