“Better not be, otherwise Hillary or Hussein will be the next POTUS.”

Worth repeating to you, bw17.

I'm sick o fthis crap. not a single vote has been made, and they are trying to tell us who the "frontrunners" are.

Repeating it does not make it true.

Rasmussen’s latest poll has Romney edging Hillary in a general election.

State by state or are we talking general national sentiment?

I would not give up on Rudy or Mitt or even Fred. If McCain is what the Dems and MSM are advocating as a GOP candidate, I would be very aware. No liberal Dems wants the best for the GOP nor does the MSM> And after the GOP nominated the Huck or McCain, does anyone really think the MSM, Net , blogs and lefties will be supporting them? If so, I have some land in the Fla. swamps for sale. The MSM and Dems fear Rudy the most. That has not changed. Electibility is still a very important factor. BTW, Rudy-Fred is a good ticket too.

I'd vote for any of the other candidates over Mike Huckabee...

The Hickster running for President is a long shot and he's playing it like he is the victorious underdog already. Everybody loves to see an underdog win.

BUT our GOP is being sold a pig in a poke with this guy. Sometimes underdogs should finish last. Idiots!

Nationally in a general election.

He also leads Hillary in Florida...but that really isn’t big news since the top 5 Republican candidates all edge out Hillary in Florida.

Huckabee has surged because he won a couple of debates and he’s got evangelical support. If a quick rise can happen to the liberal pro-life evangelical Huckster, it can happen to the conservative pro-life evangelical Hunter.

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

Why the smart money is on Duncan Hunter

In this poll Hunter is up 3% and even with Paul and Thompson.

Yes, I’m aware of that. Look at key southern states, and he’s barely edging Hillary. Which goes to say...if you can’t hold the south strongly, how do you expect to win?

National polls are good for sentiment. Hillary is a good candidate to go against for everyone, because everyone dislikes her so...so I wouldn’t base my presidental pick (solely) on who can win against her.

It’s about whom I trust and whom I think is viable. Most are to some level, although Romney’s gauge of trustworthiness (to MANY)...is very low....and eventually all that will come out.

If a quick rise can happen to the liberal pro-life evangelical Huckster, it can happen to the conservative pro-life evangelical Hunter.

And it would happen even more quickly if the so-called conservatives would actually back a conservative instead of being fair-weather fans.

So you claim. Posting liberal RINO psychobabble and running away when you’re called on it isn’t particularly respectable, nor is that holier-than-thou screed.
