You don't have to be religious to qualify as a fundamentalist. You can be Al Gore, the messiah figure for the global warming cult, whose followers truly believe their gospel of imminent extermination in a Noah-like flood, if we don't immediately change our carbon-polluting ways.

If anyone would sit down within business channels and discuss carbon credits at length...the public would start laughing and never stop. I think this is the key point that we should force the issue into. The whole carbon credit scheme....is merely a imaginary investment sector, with no real results that can be measured. You can manipulate the results in any fashion...which makes it totally unreliable to put your personal investment into.

When I am being cynical... OK, all the time... I think the reason for Algore's profligate waste of energy is purposeful, so he can demonstrate to the credulous masses how the sale of Carbon Credits can allow them to lead the most wasteful lifestyle and still feel good about themselves.
The reaction of most people who believe the Global Warming hoo-ha is to reduce consumption. But how does Algore make money off of that? Is he going to get his hands dirty making compact fluorescent light bulbs and Priuses? (Priii?) There is much more money to be made in phony-balony indulgences.

That's because there are only 2 religions in the world, and every single person is one or the other:
1)Salvation by grace alone, by faith alone, through Christ alone, to the glory of God alone....
OR
2) Attempting to earn your own way by anything else...(be it ideologies of big-government liberalism, environmentalism, do-good religiosity of all kinds, Phariseeism, Atheism (the religion of Self...), Islam, Hinduism, Materialism, Buddhism, etc. etc....).
One is either a legalist (even if anti-traditional morality..) or dependent on God's grace, period.
Perhaps more will begin to see the utter hypocrisy of the global warming cultists. Despite being outed for his carbon spewing mansion, ozone depleting private jet trips and green house gas belching limos, St Algore has not changed his life style nor have the other global warming cultists like RFK Jr. and the Hollywood left. The recent UN climate summit was held in a posh resort with freon spewing air conditioners and the attendees flew in private jets and were driven around in limos. If the world is truly doomed by green house gas why aren’t they leading by example?
Leftists have always been Medievalists. They idealize the time when the people who made a difference, the proper people, lived in the castles and great estates and took care of the little people of the world who lived in hovels and kept the Lords and Ladies properly supplied and able to take care of the affairs of the world. Consider Kennedy Camelot. The Democrats thought the Millennium had Arrived!- the first millennium. And consider the infallibility of the Kennedys in the Northeast. The Left are America’s true Royalists.
